Hotstar query for US - Page 3

I feeem super bad for ya guys and scares for myself..I am sorry but a subscription is worthless to me if after paying the exact or in this case even more amount as the exchange rate / month too.you do not get the episode at the same time..5 hrs ya 12 hrs Delay still not worth it caz you Paid to have the same service..🤷‍♀️

And we are paying so we can watch on time..that is the only thing I appreciated about hktstar every other platform adapted that from.tbem.and ab they are backtracking even if for Joe it doesn't effect me..it still is disappointing.. also they are the only platform who gave worldwide access unlike other channels who have bullshit platforms for their channels...this just seem like a downgrade..

Even if they want to move to a new platform for whatever reason just give the user same service episode at the same time as simple as that..🤷‍♀️

Uploaded around 10 30 PM PST so 1 30 am EST.

I'm also not sure if it's just the settings on my Hulu but the epis don't feel as ultra HD as they did on Hotstar......the picture quality seemed higher on the Hotstar app while watching on TV.

I guess it's an adjustment period given Disney's acquisition of all these services......it was easier to combine in India since they only have Disney and Hostar there....here they probably wanted to consolidate and then prop up Hulu in the US so yeh business decision lekar kar diya Hotstar transition to Hulu.

Hulu ka platform is also more annoying to navigate than the Hotstar wala which was simpler and more straightforward.

Customers are the ones to suffer always.....lol

For those with active hotstar subscription you receive a code to get Disney bundle for free (covered by the active subscription) until the last date of the month your subscription is valid. Then you pay $13.99/mo or get Hulu for $5.99/mo and ESPN+ for $7.99/mo if you watch IPL and other cricket coverage live. Disney+ also has the rights to Star India.

I guess they want US residents to get their beauty sleep at night. Indian watchers will post updates here so US watchers will know the story before they watch the next day.

LOL I guess Disney isn't realizing those viewers have already been spoilt/conditioned towards this early release of the episode via Hotstar😆....it's going to be a tough weaning away period 😆

There used to be a time when no one could watch the epi before it aired on TV....lol and all discussions used to happen after that....but now people have gotten spoilt with this early release option toh they will find it hard to find patience or beauty sleep 😆

It is extra annoying esp with ipl just up..some people have only taken this for cricketm.i know I initially took it for worldcup whenever that was and yeah hotstat is the easiest platform to stream cricket simple and users friendly thay doesn't actually crash and shows exact game and not delayed streaming or buffering..I hate watching cricket on any other place even TV can TV or bhi ads piss me off after every ball..esp on Desi broadcasters..so this does feel line cheating to me and I feel bad for you guys...

If they were actually migrating they should have done it more smoothly and doesn't matter transition or nor still put new content on time as was the service given ..

Exactly ek time tha hum online walon ko weeks bhi wait karna padt tha to find dhang ka upload and some days just not getting one whatsoever due to the users uploading having some issues way old days jab online start hi hua tha..we have sat through the annoying 2 mins wale 10 parts wala episodss🤣

But ab patience khatam ho gaya Hai.. when you make something easy when you spoil and then keecho haath back no..plus it makes sense for us in this time zone to have it at night ca otherwise caz of time difference nobody can really watch due to their work and stuff and pretty much you are 24 hrs later as it is with my time for new hotstar upload and the slot of imlie on starplus can..basically 8:30 new episode comes while TV ke bharose an entire 24 hrs late on TV

So pardon me but aaj kal ke fast paced zamane main 24 hrs is a huge delay and jab tak aao delho and come for discussion ya kuch duniya badal chuki hoti hai

Same!!

Hotstar had much better quality and easier to navigate - i had to search for Imlie’s and then put it my watch list so that I don’t have to search again lol.

And we can’t see any of the initial episodes in Hulu either - so once hotstar completely goes away, we will lose all the initial episodes 😭

What if I want to watch Adi imlie scenes again 😭

It is not the TV settings, the quality is not as sharp as it was in HotstarUS app. Even in the laptop, HD quality was a tad better.

I checked out some other shows in Hulu and they are better in HD quality than Imlie.

Maybe it will improve with time.

Reminds of the message of old - Rukhawat ke liye khed hai 🤣

They should put something similar out and the customer service is terrible. No use trying to reach out at this time. All I think about is watching Imlie when the epi is released. 😆
