I felt this was there futile attempt to hold on something which was already lost. As if both were in denial.

One thing I would like really to appreciate about makers is that they have not taken easy route for Adilie romance.

It is so evident that they are so incompatible.. but for makers I think it is too cliche so they want to go non-cliche way by doing Didi bhakti. Sooner or later, Adi would have felt suffocated in his marriage with Malini even if Imlie was not there. Adi is impulsive, short tempered, with Imlie he can be himself but with Didi he has to be over cautious all the time.

I so want atleast Apu later could see this difference.

Oh Adi is still in denial about his relationship with Malini. Matlab I am glad atleast he said that it was only dosti and never pyaar - itna bhi diya, meherbani kar di makers ne. Warna toh I was prepared to have him say that had Imlie not come he would have loved Malini or something along those lines. I assume that GM was instrumental in giving that dialogue, so that the FD can atleast continue to be invested in his arc, rather than label him as a 2 timer (Of course there are some who still do that, but atleast the opposing fandom as ammunition against such accusations😆).

But Adi's head in the sand mode for Malini is going to continue and I am prepared for that. You are talking about him saying all that dialogue when he did not realize he loved Imlie. Tabh him saying such heavy duty dialogue atleast made some sense, even though he paltoed the next moment and forgot about what he just said to Malini. But even during NishVi's wedding, BS spouting BS that Malini ka dil dukhakar wo jee hi nahi pata. Matlab why do they give him such dialogues which sound so fake from his mouth. He sounds deluded and stupid, when he says such stuff and in the next moment flips to Imlie. Phir matlab kya hota hai. That is why I decided to take his gehri dosti with Malini with lots of salt & masala😆. Yeh banda sorry bolega, gidgidayega, lekin anth mein if anything happens, will any day choose Imlie over everybody else.

As for figuring out the incompatibility - that factor will never be addressed, as that requires a lot of nuances and effort from the makers, jo ITV mein itni aasaani se address nahi hote. Also the entire setup was just for us and not for the characters. It was done just so that we can get on board with the Adilie couple and move on from Adini, with just some sympathy for Malini. The fact that we as an audience expected them to be more nuanced than this is something that even they did not expect.😆

Gehri dosti and dd puja are two main themes of this show so makers will not make us forget it .Rang badalti Apu is big-time 'no-no' fir me 👎🏼Adilie are going to be the biggest worshipper of dd and will compete with each other in the future .Dd and Anu will never change ,it seems .Dd never did mean things !! Apu today was just toxic to the next level for me in Adi's case only, just could not digest her behavior with him. She is slowly but surely melting towards Imlie, so her journet there is still ongoing and strong - She was so cutely proud to see Imlie dance on stage with classical movements the way she learnt from Aparna😆.

DD and Anu will never change, so I am resigned to that. AC got a good dose from Imlie, so loved that bit as well.😆

Lekin jo bhi boliye, Adi calling DD as jr AC was the dialogue of the day for me, despite him flipping moments later.😆

This is EXACTLY why I loved the post suicide scene where Adi claims he would not have been able to live if something happened to Malini (out of guilt) and Didi gave a bitter laugh and said he is lying and he would be doing just okay without her.

Adi went like: PLING! Jala dimag ki bulbwa

Because she herself saw how devastated he was when Imlie was taken to the hospital after the gunshot. She could not even find traces of those emotions in him for her.

Today DD bechargi was on another level, enough that it is physically making me shudder. Uske upar they gave Adi such stupid dialogues - Malini ne kabhi baat karna band nahi kiya (PD ke time pe she had switched her phone off for 2 days, yet he did not even realize that she had done so, as he was busy trying to manao Imlie, deluded aur behudda kahin ka) I mean he made a mistake and is trying to make up for it, but give her some time, itna ghode pe sawaar hokar kahaan jaana hai. Waise bhi divorce ki counselling was going to be shifted, toh if Malini is upset, give her some time to deal with things. But nahi, Adi aur sabar are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Dekhlena, Adile ke mamlon mein continuity mile ya na mile, pukka is baat ki continuity humein kal ke episode mein milegi and it will fry our brains even more.

Baaki the episode was such a drag that i don't know how I watched it and wrote about it. Honestly today just makes me wonder why I watch and waste my time in the first place. I am just pissed today.😡

Yeah..agree.. badi meherbani hai inki atleast he said it was dosti n gave proper scenes too support it.. like Adi missing imlie when Malu n Imlie had gone to C house. His jealousy for Prakash...Thanks to makers n GM🙏🙏🙏🙏

Imlie trust in Adi & Malini's trust in Adi were always at loggerheads. Imlie knows that no matter what, Adi will always be honest with her, brutally even, and he has proved this time and again. While Malini wants to believe in her version of the truth, which is why she feels that Adi will never give her the whole picture, no matter how honest Adi tries to be with her. Malini believes her mother also at her convenience, she was mad at Adi and wanted to punish him, so she used her mom as an excuse & walked away. Yeh drag karegi, Adi se grovel karwayegi aur ego boost karayegi before she gives in. In fact I will not be surprised that she will not talk to him till he goes missing and when she finds out, will come running there as if woh khudse jaake Adi ko dhundne wali hai. That is where the T's will see the difference b/w Malini & Imlie. While Malini will try to outsource everything, Imlie will actually try to work with the police or on her own to get Adi back.

Adi's words are as khokla as an empty box - he just rattles his dialogues without meaning a word of it😆, no worries for me there😆
