So no, I don't think she's given up fully yet....she wants to continue in this limbo and doesn't want to face the truth of Adi being in love with someone of an "inferior" status than her.....that is why she will continue her nautanki of trying to "find answers".

Adi's reaction toh anyways has zameen aasman ka farak so no need for its description but even the T's ka response had so much difference.

For Imlie all the T's were crying when she was in OT, everyone was reminiscing about her idiosyncrasies, BK was toh scolding her antics even when she was in OT😆. Then their collective praying to SM for Imlie to be saved.

When they went to meet her inside, there also everyone was scolding her for getting shot full haq se😆.

Dementor Didi herself was so calm & composed then trying to calm down everyone & completing formalities. She did not shed any tears. That time we all thought that she was being the calm one for the family. But knowing now how she thinks of Imlie as only a servant, she just probably didn't care enough about her even then😆.

During Dementor Didi, we all saw that they did care & were worried for her but it was all tainted by their fear of having to face issues if anything happened to her. Apart from Aparna & Nishant, the chamcha, no one was crying😆. Also they did not even scold her or reason with her for taking such a drastic step. Aparna toh just coddled her. I think BK is also fed up of her drama. He just looked irritated with her😆. Also he made sure to let her know that she is alive because of Imlie's blood donation😆. Didi ka chop face after knowing this was🤣.

LOL thanks for the recap...I don't even remember that epi in that much detail other than Adi looking very devastated, crying in guilt....I think he even had a scene with that Mankua waali Aunty where he talked about how it's all his fault that Imlie is in this state.

I had also mistakenly thought that Didi was being supportive and steady at that time cuz everyone else was so emotionally overwhelmed with worry for Imlie....including Adi😆....but ab samajh mein aa raha hai ki Didi ko GHANTA fikar thi Imlie ki tab bhi, isliye aaraam se formalities manage karne mein busy thi😆......same way aaj Adi ko bhi GHANTA fikar hai Didi ke suicide kaand ki sliye his supply of tears for Didi is also pretty limited😆

Tripathis ki reactions frankly are not very reliable either way😆....so I feel there isn't much point reading much into them right now....lol yeh log pendulum ki tarhaan oscillate karenge until the truth is revealed and uske baad bhi blame game mein ghoomte rahenge.

I'm only guessing...Maybe because till then - she had hope and when Adi did not give her the truth because he did not believe she could handle it - she knew it was over.

If she was still in fighting for marriage mode - would she not have agreed to Imli leaving? Why ask her to stay and give taana's instead? Since she does not know the truth - I'm sure t here is a tiny element of hope left...which will slowly be decimated as she starts observing more and more of Adi's concern for Imlie. But I don not believe she will treat Imlie badly anymore. That will damage her beyond redemption and I dont think the makers will go there.

Added: Also if makers want Malini interference between Adi Imli even after Adini divorce - they need to retain her mahaan status. Continuation of underhand ways to undermine Imlie - will result in Adi's back getting up and will not work in her favor. She may go the fling route to save face - but she will also portray mahaanata not villainy in her last remaining days at T house. No? Now I could be completely off :)

LOL you are trying to find logic in Malini's actions?😆......the woman's thoughts and reasoning literally change every second....so none of this is about any logic. She is a very twisted person so she wants to keep Imlie around to emotionally torture her with her own baggage.....none of this is about being mature or logical.....these are all just random acts from Malini cuz she can't handle the absolution of the truth and wants to keep wallowing in this limbo where she can suspect everyone and feels superior in guilt tripping them.

Very true what you are saying. But that is why Malini's character raises such strong reactions. Makers have managed to create a character which looks close to completely reasonable on the surface - if you see her by the book - but as viewers - you see many more layers that highlight her many flaws. But makers never acknowledge this. I've never been able to figure out if this is brilliantly done intentionally (via screen play and acting) - even though it is frustrating for viewers or if I'm influenced to be suspicious by our love for Adilie and maybe that is maker intent - make what you will of her - but we will never criticise her in show. As someone mentioned yesterday - makers may never resolve this for us - and for me not having characters assessed and locked down is very frustrating - i need to have a character sketch laid down - be consistent and grow or fall. I loved the fact that Adi and Imlie conducted themselves so well in the face of Malini type of weardown...but you never see them having a internal mental discussion on who she really is - instead we get over the top didi jaap and mature understanding person from Adi...which implies it tottaly goes over their head.

I think totally different situations the na? One was getting shot by someone else (putting yourself in harm’s way) versus inflicting self-harm. I doubt anyone not qualified would want to talk to a person who just tried to take his/her life. Lot of psychological aspects associated with the latter. Not saying the former comes with any less baggage but ending your life normally means a lot more emotional scarring that regular family wale are unsuited to handle.

I get where you’re coming from but I would not read too much into Ts reactions only because one situation is more sensitive than the other. Only difference to be noted is Aditya’s as the partner and we anyway did not need him to see Malini in the hospital for knowing what it would be.

What is your issue not everyone is bhikari na.. the way she made it sound like an obligationnke imlie ne jaan bachayi toh koi bada kaam nahi kia as theybhave done ehsaan on her and esp adi so she showed it to them. Yehi difference hai between her and adi..he once again thanked her for saving both their lives even though that pissed imlie at that point ke baar baarvkyin thank you bol rshe ho and paraya kar rahe ho also caz she was just frustrated and under too much guilt.. but yeh woman was like adi did this and this and that for you and am like point being..

But chalo was glad ke chalo kisi baat pe toh inka agreement hai even though if the intent behind that is totally different.. didi ka sole purpose is to keep jataooing the ehsaans and burden the poor soul underneath them while trying to be badi.. she is next level of fickle but again I am.not sure if she can be anything else
