The only reason it probably got pushed to the background is maybe because him coming back and actually accepting that he did not go where he told her he was became more important. And her resolve that she could only sort this out if she were at the Ts.

Amongst other things I think we also missed that Aditya actually told a teeny truth today 😆. That he did not go on work. Sach bol hi diya aakhir main

I need to see it again but kudos to writers, the way they showed the shift in his behavior with Malini and Imlie , it really shows his change in feelings towards both the women. His attitude spoke volume and though there is still care for Malini, it really came across as “ zimmedari” and the “ the phone call” came across as “pyaar”. What a shift and so well done that one can actually see it happened.😊

Hahah but malini was always aap.. they never broke that barrier 😆 despite their 7 years woh formality se aage bhashe hi nahi toh tum kaise aata.. and it is sticking out even more as you guys said after all the tums and sunos and hums.. matlab adi 7 saal main aap se tum ka safar toh kar nahi paaya and he was delusional enough to think it was love even if on the surface level kehne ko way main hi🤣 since he clarified it was never love in first place

Zimmedari jitna bhi nahi ho raha isse .. he was so preoccupied in his mess that he hardly even asked if she was OK or rebuked her for this childish khana penna chodna behavior.. bas ek token sa bol dia..🤣

Contrast it to imlie being zimmedari and being sick twice the banda was on the edge worrying about her meds her khana her stitches ripping apart. Or the first time her being not in her hospital bed despite being sick 😆

@AY, Re your question on whether Malini will notice he's stopped calling her moon: I think she's bound to notice eventually and she's gonna guilt trip him about this in roundabout ways too.😆 Right now she's just content that he's back, brought her back from her maayka, trying to get her to take her meds on time...Such low expectations she has LOL.😆 This woman does not know how to build a relationship at all. When her relationship is this fractured, she's still trying to guilt trip him...telling him that she will now take care of her med schedule cuz he won't always be here to take care of her. Sure, and that's why you gave up eating when he left you??? OMG that reminds me, I toh found his tone so funny when he told her she should take care of her eating cuz she has low BP.🤣 There was not even a hint of concern in it, he just said it out of pure obligation.

The Adi-Imlie phone call has already been discussed so I'm gonna rant a bit about Adi's family now.😛 Yesterday too I was vexed about this, but aaj toh I'm livid.None of them can read him to save their life...forget about reading him, they literally IGNORED him today.🤔 I'm still in two minds about whether their silent treatment earlier was right or not, but I found it extra odd today how they all left him in the hall alone after taking Malini inside. I'm not sure if I am over-reacting but they did not even LOOK at him??? Even after looking at him, would they have bothered to inquire why he looks so lost and detached?? I understand now why Adi doesn't share his emotions with these people, they have never even bothered to even TRY to understand him. Before someone says, my issue is not family prioritising their own son over bahu. Not at all. My issue is that even if someone in your family does something wrong (and Adi has hardly committed a crime now), you reprimand them, but you at least try to talk to them right? Isn't that why his mom cried a few days back, cuz she wanted Malini to hear out Adi before passing judgment? Isn't that what she's doing now? Looks like Adi inherited the flipbaaz trait from his mom.😆

And yeah, it seems like Adi will be zinda laash until Imlie comes back to handle him. I'm looking forward to the DARD games.🥳Btw guys, I think Adi will likely lash out at Imlie now if she tells him to leave her and look after Malini Didi. I'm excited for those scenes. One more thing you guys probably already noticed is that Imlie thinks Malini has first haq on Adi and Adi thinks Imlie does. I'm expecting a future scene where Imlie fights Adi for Malini Didi's haq and Adi will unravel and be like "What about your haq?"

A very small detail ...maybe very insignificant , but somehow I feel that a new character will be introduced ... remember the “Nidhi Bua “ with whom roopi was talking on phone ? I some how feel there will be some drama with the bua when imli returns

On a different note , has anyone see the Pakistani drama “thoda sa haq”. ... the story is very much similar

I doubt it will be easy for them. They have always consider Malini as the bahu and they have seen her getting married to him, like they brought her home with all band Baja and riti riwaaj so for them she is rightful one. To suddenly let go of that reality and accept a new reality would not be easy especially because of the 7 year relationship that Aditya and Malini share. They will definitely think that Aditya has lost his marbles and would try to talk him out of it. Imlie’s age would be another factor that will be difficult for them to digest. The more he delays, the less sympathy he will get plus now his feelings for Imlie will also go against him because unlike before he now wants to spend his life with Imlie rather than Malini. The T’s would not understand this and They will fully blame Aditya.

Some of these episodes have me emotionally drained out - they are quite intense for ITV. I love watching and have given up watching other serials as I cannot drum up the enthusiasm, interest or the energy after Imli. Pace of story has also been quite speedy. Almost all questions answered.

After today - all I want is for the CVS to give us an episode that shows Adi - how much his family loves Imli - and I hope its dhamakedaar in its difference from how they like Malini! It was painful to watch them over indulge her - and painfully prioritze her over their own son. For all they know - Adi could have been diagnosed with cancer and took 4 days off to deal with it like Nishant did for 10 years. T family needs some serious introspection. In trying to be good - they have lost their normalcy.

Poor Imli is thinking Adi does not remember her. Her trust is him is pretty low - no surprise there. Should Adi not have attempted to call her back - he must have realized how she must have felt. They don't have texting??

I think Prakash will be sworn to secrecy on the basis of their friendship and he will unwillingly agree to get more info.

I won't be surprised if she turns up in Delhi tomorrow in her blue salwar for admission and Holi scene is on Wednesday with Adi storming her hostel. I hope its not a dream.

I do feel its badke kaka who will get Imli back!

Forgot to add - what does Adi mean when he says - he'll drown in the choppy waters - keep both of them stringed along? or what?

@bold - Maybe the Holi episode will be that. However, it may be short lived since doubts will crop up.

Re drowning - I think that’s just Aditya’s desolation. In the beginning he used to talk about death because he felt he could not stop the forced marriage. But lately, invoking his death has just been in connection to Imlie’s absence. He cannot seem to be able to function without her.

Re Ts - OMG! Finally I seem to have found a kindred soul regarding the Tripathis 😆 I love them. They are great but they have absolutely no idea about their son’s state of mind. And it is so absolutely sad to watch.

Aditya does carry the largest chunk of fault in the entire mess. However, he was a victim of circumstance too. Or karma rather. Dev’s bad karma almost. He happened to be the link destined to connect Dev’s daughters so he was bound to do what he did. It is plain unfortunate.

Had he told the truth in the beginning, we would not have had the story we have today no.
