In a sense, they have also been building up Imlie's feelings in this time in PD....she keeps asking herself again and again why she doesn't want him to leave.....so I wonder if she will also reach some kind of realization by the end of this track, even if she thinks he still loves Malini so her own love for him is doomed.😆

If Imlie does realize it ...it will be beautiful I hope she does but then she will be like.iss emotion sickness ke saath gayi toh meri didi ke liye problems ho jaayeingi.. maybe this is why she stays back.. idk I just want her to go along with him itna tadap itna effort and yeh jaayegi bhi nahi toh dil bohat dukhega mera.. also I think tripathis do need apni Imlie too they deserve some khushi too that imlie can bring instantly.. they all will be so much at peace with imlie returning than from there on adi can decide malini ke saath kya karna hai. But for now the whole tripathi clan need imlie and imlie needs her Delhi wala ghar too along with babusahib

It's not like Adi hasn't hidden the truth from Malini before or told roundabout lies....but his motivation was always shown to be clear that he is doing everything only for Malini😆 (that's what he told himself basically).....so his conscience felt clear on that front to him. But today, in this phone call, his conscience WASN'T clear....and not just because he was lying to her about where he is.....but the bigger blow was that he couldn't reciprocate her love declaration with a clear conscience....cuz it no longer felt true to him.....if it was just guilt, he could still have returned her I love you....he's been doing it all this while anyways....but now it's beyond guilt....now his conscience is pricking him big time and that is why he isn't being able to say something to her that his conscience knows is not his heart's truth anymore. And then yes....the other touching part was that he has come so far that he can't bring himself to deny Imlie ki ek chhoti si wish even if it costs him badly once he gets back....I think he has an inkling ofcourse ki he will go back to a mess, but he is still unable to help himself from prolonging this time with Imlie.....her one day more waali wish was his own wish too, that is why he couldn't back down from it....and he isn't just staying back but he's participating in the things she wanted pure mann se....at this rate, the goodbye is going to be damn hard for Babusahib even more than he can imagine.....lol.....he's behaving like ek ek pal gin raha hai Imlie ke saath that he never wants to end.

The best part is that he just simply wants to be in her presence....he is craving her presence around him the most.....wohi nahin chhoot paa rahi isse. All this grand passion he has stored inside himself for so many years that he didn't even know he was capable of😆....it has found a home in this pyari si Jhalli and ab usse aage nahin badh paa raha Adi. It's like his feet are refusing to move him away from Imlie.....he just wants to linger as long as he can.

Pendulum is the right word.... the way she went from sad to crying to gratitude because of T's to making peace to excitement about Adi's call to depression to breakdown...... Mayuri nailed each one of these just through expressions and dialogues.... it was subtly done without any drama or loud music..and really brought out Malini's emotional instability just due to some doubts and fear that Aditya might not come back to her. It showed how much of a crutch his love is for her to even remain sane and stable in her thoughts and emotions.

Btw intresting na full tripathi clan fell apart imlie ke jaate hi.. and the so called ideal life partners 2 din legit do din nahi nibha paaye *cough cough* malini didi.. na sasural na rishta na kuch aur imlie hi inhe abhi tak sambhal rahi thi

Yes, Malini is getting all the big dialogues about how she fears her husband won't come back.....but I'm thinking they will still likely flip Adi when he comes back and learns Malini left the house.....so all of Malini's melodrama will look overblown😆.

I don't really agree that her leaving the house was right. Yes, he lied....but her leaving before learning WHY he lied....and the fact that she left on her mother's advice that you should leave so that Adi learns to value you......lol is this all it took for Malini to feel unvalued? For 7 years and for most of the early months of this marriage, Adi hasn't just valued her, he's treated her like a Queen and groveled in front of her so many times.....so she suddenly feels THAT Adi doesn't value her cuz he's lying to her this one time?

Adi lying is 100% wrong and he deserves to answer for it.....but to up and LEAVE your husband's house like this just cuz he's been out for 2 days and lied to you about one thing? She doesn't even have any direct proof he's cheating on her and she's already leaving? lol let's set aside what Adi is doing in PD for now and view Malini's actions based on the info she has....she is most definitely over-reacting and giving in to her Mom's poor advice. This is not the way to maturely handle a relationship. She doesn't want space....she wants the usual over the top assurance that Adi loves/misses her as much as she misses him.....but this is not the way to get it. She is only losing him more in the process.

And she's not realizing that she never really knew him all this time.

I know, AY! I just feel that when you are very close to someone you can tell the difference between lying and lying. Sometimes you have to withhold information from your partner for official reasons, but then there are times something seems off. I am sure Aditya has lied to Malini before for work related reasons, but she just knows this time it's different. When you are that close to someone you can just tell it from his/her voice (whether Malini was ever that close to Aditya that's debatable though 😆). She loves him, the kind of love she understands, the kind which doesn't give much space to the other person, that lacks depth and understanding, the kind of love that can become suffocating for the other person. But nonetheless, she does loves him and she is feeling the Aditya she knew is changing.

I am not sure if she going back to maike to teach Aditya a lesson. Maybe she needs a little space to understand herself. She is a complete mess right now. As it is, she is sitting in her room worrying and crying all day, how will that help the Tripathis anyway? Away from all of them, maybe she can start to analyze why is she feeling so insecure so easily, where is her insecurity stemming from? She is emotionally a very weak person. I really hope when the truth comes out and her world turns upside down, they show some growth in her character. As GM said Malini is a very one dimensional character. Hope they add more layers to her character so it's interesting to watch. Just because we all love Adilie doesn't mean Malini's journey cannot be interesting.

She is a girl who will be lost without Aditya's support. She needs Aditya much more than he ever needed her. She has to find herself when all this mess is over. They can make her negative or they can make her stronger. The decision lies with the cvs.

About Aditya flipping, I think Aditya realized yesterday that part of him wants to be with Imlie, wants to dance with her, wants to be free. The other part wants to stick to the choice he made for himself. He will be torn between the two for a while!

Reality hits hard ...moon kabhi bhi mera aur adi ka rishta phase se bahar ayi nahi .it was totally abt her and adi agar woh sabko apna samajhti toh aaj jaati nahi .bolne mein aur nibhane mein farak hai ..they tried hard to keep her cheerful but still she went which was totally not acceptable .....but imlie day 1 se she only thought abt them isliyeah she got all rishta and moon left with only tears 🤢

And adi was only in moon flow never thought what he needs but then it all started with him missing imlie when she was at anu house...so let see where it takes him 👍🏼

But the point here isn't really about love or how close you feel to a person. Even if she feels she can sense that something is off, why not TALK? When you RUN AWAY from your OWN relationship, then it's just doomed, man.

Issue for me isn't that I need to dislike Malini to root for Adi-Imlie.....not at all. Adi-Imlie are meant to be for reasons totally independent of Malini. I'm objectively pointing out what's wrong with Malini's approach, period. She didn't leave to get space....and once you are married, you can't just run off when you feel emotionally overwhelmed. A marriage is a commitment....you have to see it through even when the going gets tough. Adi lied to her, so if she still considers this a marriage, she should question him, confront him instead of just running off crying ki I FEEL him going away me.....lol what kind of childish way is this of thinking? Only when you feel there is NOTHING left to discuss do you walk away from a marriage. Malini is running away cuz she wants attention, period.

I don't buy her excuses to the Tripathis that she needs to leave cuz she's weighing them down.....lol so is she saying that everytime her and Adi fight or disagree, she will run away cuz she doesn't want to "depress" her sasural waale? 😕 How ridiculous does that sound.....if you can't emotionally handle yourself, why attach yourself to other people's lives and then guilt trip them like this?

Find herself toh tab hoga when people will acknowledge what she's doing is wrong. Yahaan pe toh you are also justifying what she did😆.....so kaise hogi growth? She first needs to understand how unhealthy her approach to her relationship has been for so long and how much both her and Adi have lied to themselves about their relationship.

Just wait and watch agar imlie nahi gayi adi ke saath he will literally suffocate with moon and her tantrums ..

Aur gayi toh atleast he will have peace of mind/heart ..because then he will have her support to fight the turmoil inside him ...

By now, we should start to get used to this pattern.....they kept so much of his emotions vague for a long time before bursting out yesterday with the alter ego connecting all the dots that were apparent to us all along but Adi was shown to be blank faced/minded about😆.

I feel Adi called Malini as a reflex in guilt after the alter-ego scene shook him up a bit....call toh kar liya, but he couldn't bring himself to do the usual level of coddling to manaao her....maybe because he is now getting a conscious inkling that saying all that now would be a lie to her and that would be a bigger lie than just lying to her about where he went. That is what I saw in the torment in his eyes....the realization that he cannot give assurances to Malini that he doesn't feel himself right now.....that even after all this, the need to grant Imlie's one wish of "ek din aur" was greater than anything.....even his own rishta with Malini....when he said, "kuch bhi" to Imlie yesterday, I guess he really meant it😆. While he hasn't fully accepted what his alter ego told him yet, it definitely shook his foundation up enough to not make him feel comfortable doing his usual pampering with Malini. That is a notable switch. He had the eyes of a haunted/tormented man when he was talking to Malini there.....very good acting from GM.

The other side of this was the pooja next day with Imlie.....Adi had his usual blank mask on for the most part but there was nothing ambiguous about the way he stepped forward with his own marzi to do the rituals with Imlie and to give her his name. Ofcourse, he will make the excuse later that he was just doing his part to return all the ehsaans she's done on him😆.....that this doesn't mean anything more than that....he hasn't really accepted her as his wife.....lol and Imlie won't even question him more than that cuz she has contented herself with just the extra day and she isn't expecting anything else from him.

Even though Adi kept his face mostly blank in the pooja, there was a sense of stoic purpose in him....like someone mentioned in one of the earlier pages, he hardly even hesitated before holding out his hand for Imlie to put hers in his....his instinct did take over in some ways....while he may not have been fully comfortable also probably still thinking over the complications in his mind, but he still wasn't willing to back down either and stepped up to support her throughout the pooja up to the point of giving her his name too. A man who once made horrible faces throughout every ritual with her😆, refused to even let his feet touch hers in a thaal was now himself stepping up to take her hand in his and do every ritual with full respect and deep solemnity.😆

@bold: Yes, I think the alter ego conversation did strike a chord in him and kind of made him question his own beliefs. Hence, his immediate reaction was to call Moon and talk to her. He almost sounded desperate to talk to her but he could not bring himself to say things that he himself was struggling with to believe. He wanted to, but he could not and hence his eyes filled with tears because he did not want to lie. Agree that he still does not believe everything but the way he responded to her "ILU" with "I will need one more day and am not reachable now" was almost like he is rationalizing that he needs this one day to end things with Imlie or get a closure with her on this relationship and then go back to Moon and his normal life. Almost similar to what he thought when he stepped down from the bus. It was a day he gave to himself as much as to Imlie, IMO.

You know, they say that "If you love something set it free. If it comes back it's yours. If not, it was never meant to be"

This is what the whole pooja reminded me about. Imlie has never tried to hold on to him, she has only tried to hold on to the rishta and after the bike convo, she wants to set him free from this rishta. She almost bandwagon that she can do it all alone. But the more she insisting that she can manage on her own, the more he wants to give his support. The more she is trying to set him free from this rishta, the more he is trying to get tangled in this relationship. Its almost as if when some body say "No, dont do that", you want to do it. Its almost as if they are working at cross purposes so different, yet so similar to their previous pooja. Basically, the bottom line is he does not want to be free from this rishta and he wants to keep her tied to him in every possible way. Again, his rationalization is one day, one pooja but no this is subconscious trying to bind her to him and if its means connecting their names together so be it.😊

This can be termed as one of his impulsive actions but there was no jijak or doubt in demeanor as is the case with all his impulsive actions. Its only later he realizes the repercussion of his actions. But the one thing to note is that none of his actions or words have commitment attached to it. All his actions are done in a way that he can justify it to himself later, he wants her back for his family, he is supporting her for her career, he is here for the closure, the name was the need of the hour and he is going to totally do it when he is back and in denial. Hence, I might sound like a broken record but Imlie is going to be so hurt.
