I was catching up on this thread.. by @AY, @Fary, @Pam, nice points on the last few minutes.

Imli was disturbed to see Adimoon all lovey dovey and felt defeated, the whole thing hit her like a ton of bricks.. after the ordeal, they had all been through.

When Adi came and caught her shoulder and asked her softly if she was in pain, she could not very well reveal that her heart was breaking, she does not know it yet. I think she will start withdrawing from him and focus on getting out of there, focusing on college as that was her original dream. There never was and never will be a rishta with Aditya. She felt that in that moment and that was staggering realization.

When Malini left to check on the gas, I think it may have been a ruse, to leave these 2 alone to see if they talk standing closely to settle her suspicions.

Imli was with Adi and saw his reaction at the scene and also knew he had lied to Mun, so she could not face him at that moment.. I feel she was overwhelmed by all that she heard and was feeling at that moment. Adi has not had a private chat with her and maybe he will follow her and ask her.. if the makers are meherbaan enough to give us continuity, else we may see some random scene...

A lot has been discussed about AKT and his actions, the man is in denial and does not examine his feelings. He is happy to live in the space where he does not have to think or answer anyone including himself. Waise he did look irritated when Mun was like I can't live without you.. he just brushed it off and was OTT in his care.. he did push Anu out of the way, saying he would care of his wife. LOL. those two.

Ok, my brain isn't working much on the precap front but I have a theory regarding the college track😆.

Imlie will try her best to get admission into some college away from this city so that she can live in the hostel....this may happen either with Adi's suggestion or based on her own conclusion that she needs to get away from Adi-Malini......all along, Adi may encourage her/motivate her.....she may ultimately get the admission and everyone will celebrate......but as the time for her to leave starts drawing closer, Adi and her both will feel conflicted....lol like a repeat of the track when Adi thought he will be rid of her for good when she leaves for PD😆.

In the end, something will happen that she won't be able to get admission in the college she wanted and will somehow end up at Malini's college as a last resort😆....so problem solved for Adi again - both biwis still in his house, and now in the same college too😆.

Agree - if the makers are going the Adilie route - why even make Adi say lines like he did yesterday? It does nothing more than show him as fake and unsubstantial. When is this phase going to end? At some point they will both realize the truth? Exactly, it is little disturbing seeing adi's heavy bashan on love to Malini, then next moment showing concern to imlie or thinking about her. How can we viewers or imlie accept adi saying one day like I love you only imlie, you are my life, I belong to you only. It is like slowly CVs butchering adi's character like showing OTT PDA with malini. 🤢 I hope yeh pda kam ho jaye after showing imlie's last behaviour with adi. He did notice her discomfort. I wish yeh jhalli use ignore kare ya phir next time adi kuch kare malini ke saath, she openly show her discomfort and adi notice it. So he stop doing it or ask her directly why this behaviour? I want Imlie to give adi a fitting reply that shows him a mirror. 🤓

@bold: LOL I think Malini saying that she will die without him pinched a nerve....the heavy duty obligation nerve that he already feels weighed down by.....it's already something he feels so burdened about and then Malini laid it on him even more deliberately again.....as if in her own subtle way reminding him about the stakes in their relationship so he better not even THINK he can ever love someone else😆.

I don't know if the makers craft these dialogues of Malini deliberately or it's meant to show how subconsciously manipulative she's being.....it can never be a healthy relationship where you have to constantly obligate someone to be with you out of guilt that you will die without them. What else is a person to say in response? Ki theek hai marr jaao, main toh gaya? lol obviously ek hi response bachega ki don't worry, I'm always with you. And the fact that Malini doesn't seem to care ki woh response obligation mein mile ya pyar mein....she just wants him with her kaise bhi.

This scene actually was a study in how unhealthy Adi-Malini's relationship is.....the way he himself added on the line about "I will never love anyone else other than you".....lol the "anyone else" was something he himself inserted cuz his subconsciousness is shifting away from Malini and it makes him blurt out these kind of things to cover up his feelings.....otherwise what's the need to say something like this? And Malini was anyways being weird in response laughing ki why are you saying this and then herself saying ki I fully trust you, I know you only love me etc. etc.😆.....lol itna trust hai toh baar baar same point pe kyun reassurance dena padta hai? And woh bhi without having the guts to discuss the reason for why both of you are feeling a sense of distance from each other.

It's remarkable how obviously fake they are being with each other but the makers expect us to buy this as a "real" and "loving" relationship simply on the basis of their lovey dovey dialogues....lol aise nahin hota.....even Imlie-Malini scenes have a fake feel when Malini goes to this extent to pretend like she didn't see something with her own eyes, and is all about, "Oh meri Imlie, I know you love me so much" blah blah......Makers can show all the characters in the story as morons but as the audience, we aren't buying it.

Very well said as always. 👏 When Malini said that to Adi, my reaction was “oh here we go again”. She senses he’s growing distant from her & the only tool she has to bridge the gap is guilt-tripping. Adi was already burdened with the worry that she’d have another fainting episode if he tells her the truth...now he’s forced to constantly reassure her that he won’t leave her because she says she can’t live without him.

Honestly seems the writers are working overtime to show us just how different Malini and Imlie are. That scene when Imlie talked Rupi down from committing suicide flashed instantly in my mind as I watched Malini say she couldn’t live without Adi. That scene solidified that whilst Imlie may eventually get her heart broken...she won’t value her life any less. This and countless other reasons is why Adilie would by far be the healthier relationship. ❤️

For me, the issue personally isn't the chipku PDA romance....woh toh waise bhi bahut time se chal raha hai....I got more disgusted today seeing what Adi lied about. Isse pehle he's done his generic, "I love you the most, I'm yours, you know me best" stuff before too but the straight-faced lying that he did about how worried he was for Malini is what really disgusted me. And then he followed it up with a show of concern for Imlie without even an iota of guilt....lol it was all too much whiplash in a short period of time.

I think Adi-Malini as a unit were just really disgusting me in that scene with the level of fakeness and lying they were both doing to each other. Malini acting like she didn't very well see and remember what she saw was another level of pathetic.

AY, I did watch those scenes, somehow they didn't have much effect on me. Maybe I was expecting them, that's why.

I would say this though, up until now I wasn't sure if Aditya's display of affection towards Mailini was a cover-up for anything he might feel for Imlie or the guilt he feels for not being truthful. You all were saying it's all fake and he says/does things to distract Malini or himself. But after Friday's episode I am now completely convinced that's exactly what it is! It was so obvious that he was lying to himself and Malini! It actually helped me to see things clearly. This is the first time I felt like Aditya was lying and this time he sort of knew it. I guess that's why I didn't feel so bad because it clarified my thoughts. 😛

Aditya would be a fool to not know that what he felt for Imlie after she went missing was much more intense compared to what he felt for Malini. Hence, such fake display of affection towards Malini. Does it help his character? It doesn't. He is obviously flawed, but that doesn't bother me much. At this point, we all know that human beings are flawed. I just read this somewhere which I loved -

Both Malini and Aditya know that gap between them is getting larger and larger and the more they are trying to desperately hold on to their relationship.
