But moti roti ke time she didn't have the guts to ask Adi directly ki use moti roti itni kyun pasand hai.....then that apology waali diary entry jiska credit yeh le gayi and didn't have the guts to reveal to Adi who wrote it.....lol and now this situation where Adi looked through her literally.....yeh bhi puchhne ke guts nahin hain is waqt Malini mein cuz she's not confident that it won't break their relationship.
Honestly I think I'm going to need a few epis to get over this level of fakeness and cowardice from Malini.....all her "meri pyari behen Imlie" stuff isn't enough to make up for it in my eyes right now....sab bahut fake lag raha hai despite her show of affection/concern for Imlie....mainly cuz she is lying about what she clearly saw.
Waise what's your theory? Do you think Adi has realized that he overlooked Malini lying on the ground there? 😆.....yeh sab OTT fake PDA is cuz of just AC ka taunt ki he's also trying to make up for literally having leapt over Malini and not seeing her on the ground? 😆.....as usual, makers ne baat vague banaa di taaki they can keep the status quo going.
Ok, I cannot find the original post of this discussion but just continuing here. I guess I was expecting that they would add a layer to Malini but they actually kept both of them in the character. See, from the first we were seeing that there is an issue, Aditya does his groveling act and everything is OK. Today was exactly the same, but now there is a big elephant in the room.
From Aditya side, he is not thinking about his action about Imlie or the why he did it because he is just putting it in under his farz and responsibility category. But not making Malini his priority is pricking him especially as he was the one who forced her to go. He is used to this behavior or this aspect of his relationship where he puts his work in front of her and then overcompensates by showing his care and his feelings (Remember his engagement where he left it for work and the overcompensation). Also, Aditya is a person who chooses not to answer if he does not have a answer as his mantra is bolo to sach bolo warna kuch nahi bola (What a joke that is 🤣). He did not have an answer but he knows he goofed up, not because he helped Imlie, but by not making Malini his priority over work. He is not even touching the "why" because he sees no reason to do it. This is the norm.
From Malini side, I totally agree with you here that she only bring up topic where she knows that the answer will only be a reconfirmation of his love or where she is praised or she is made the focus. During moti roti, she knew his attitude and today she was scared about his answer. The answer might have been an instant denial that "No she is my responsibility" or he might have had no answer. The seconds is what she does not have the guts to face that. I think that the reason though it kept pricking her, she did not have the strength to face it, hence she kept asking for reassurances and confirmations in a roundabout way even bringing up that she will die if the his love ends and was assured by Aditya's reaction.
This is the their khokla relationship and Malini is making it more so by not asking the correct questions or not bringing up the actual issues. She knows there is tanaav but does not have the inner strength to address it or his gut reaction today. She is all Ok with the false assurances that Aditya is providing. May be because she knows he only speaks the truth (🤣🤣🤣) but sadly Aditya thinks he is telling the truth but it is not the truth.
The elephant is in the room, one is choosing to ignore it, the other is not seeing it. As usual they are sweeping it under the carpet but it will keep coming out which is evident in the very next scene with Aditya OTT care for Imlie.
On a separate note, Imlie got her reality check but I loved the last scene where Aditya wanted her to look at him and for once she did not follow through.
