Very lovely post. Though I like each and every post of yours, I do not get the time to comment on all but wanted to for this one especially! I am so glad that you said there is really no point in finding faults now. The forum is so much critical now (not that it was not like that before 😆) but when the show was on, the debates and discussions mattered but now it has only seven days and they cannot do a miracle overnight. It was never great on logic to begin with and then they opened too many tracks and now they are closing at an alarmingly short notice (don't think they had more than five or six episodes to do that when they were told), so we cannot expect everything to be perfectly satisfactory now, of all times! It is actually all over the place and some things (if not most) will remain unsatisfactory even in the end I am sure. There is absolutely no point in hair splitting 😔 at this stage.
I am just glad they are giving some good scenes to SaAz (however illogical they might be) and showing progress in their relationship and I am just watching for that. We won't get to see Sahir and Arzoo ever again nor will Hashad or Shivya come together (generally doesn't happen right?) 😭 - so I do not want to waste my energy cribbing about the logic or the story anymore - have done enough so long 🤢 It is not what I (or anybody else) expected to be sure, but what can we do now about that?? I just hope they close the very important loops (deal, promise, Zeenat, the present murder attempts) satisfactorily and the less important ones at least to the best extent they can - and I think they are trying. I don't have high expectations at all from the show now. Some good SaAz moments, some excellent scenes from Harshad (a breakdown and an apology to Arzoo, final confession that is pending, and also a stronger and more open acceptance of his love and need of her ) and their coming together finally nicely at the end is all that I am looking forward to. Literally keeping my brains out while watching 🤣
The second reason I wanted to comment on this post is the way you have explained Sahir's reaction here:
For Sahir his actions always speak louder than words .. He dint waste time showing fake concern with an apology for the Lucknow factory because he knew that his one apology cannot undo his act .. Instead he silently decided to re-build the factory , a decision I feel he might hv taken months back already ; Siimlarly today too when he sees the broken coffee mug , he does not waste time showing his fears which might scare Aarzoo further , instead he brings the feviquick and joins it back with her help , thus indicating to her that he has learnt to b positive and optimistic in life from her only 😳 ...
Sahir might come out looking wrong to many because he does not try to justify or defend his actions much nor does he try to show fake regret in front of his wife just to please her ; Instead he gives his answers with his actions .. If he commits a mistake , he knows how to rectify it .. If he does somrthing good , he knows how to not take unwanted credit for it ...This is what sets him apart from the rest and we ourselves in this forum might b divided on whether Sahir is right or wrong .. This proves why Aarzoo today called him a puzzle
I do not think I have to explain this any more because you have done it perfectly already - and I am totally with you on this! He is not like any other character and he has to be understood too unlike any other. He has never been an 'ideal' hero and they have never tried to make him a role model for anybody - this was a story about flawed people who learn and grow with love and make themselves better. So, the only thing I am happy about the show is that they kept Sahir's characterization mostly intact until the end - he is the reason I watched the show and he is still there - so I am not going to keep complaining any more 😊
So, finally, this is not quite the great show that I expected it to be but it is not one that I would quit too - am simply enjoying SaAz and will do so until the end
