With all do respect to you views but I was expressing my viewpoint to the topic maker. But now that you brought it up I would like to say that I disagree respectfully. From what I saw Saahir did expect a lot from people. He expected Arzoo to marry him after he had broken her heart. He expected her to become the second woman in his life. The track eventually got scraped but he expected his brother to marry someone he detested for a very long time. He went through every method needed to get what he expected from them.
I do not believe there is a point to further discussion because our viewpoint on human is very different. For me human is making mistakes, being unable to keep promises, unintentionally hurting those close to us. But committing mistakes like gambling with someone's life crosses that line for me. Also forcing someone to be the second women. To me Saahir for a very long time was presented as a villian not human. Maybe the way their trying to present him now is human and flawed. But for a very long time he did inhuman things.
I am glad you enjoyed the show and even consider it a classic but I respectfully disagree and would like to leave it there only.
@Bold : I disagree to some extent with this bold bit . .. he dint really expect this from her , he actually demanded it from her .. but whether to keep his demand or not was in Aarzoo's hand .. if u remember that episode , she had come to his room to say yes for marriage because that time she needed the money for her family when Zara refused to give her the money ..
He had stopped expecting long back .. SAC always got what he wanted because after getting betrayal fromm his wife , he had programmed himself in that way only to survive ... but once he got the love and proper guidance in his life via Aarzoo , he changed ...
