Hi Chick, A belated Happy Birthday to you! I saw the birthday thread listed as one of the most popular threads on HS...but didnt post..because wasnt sure if that was by invitation only...You and I share same zodiac sign!😛
Regarding the show...Yup...it looked like there was much story to be told...than anything that can be wrapped in one week...or is it two weeks based on what someone just posted...
I totally agree with you in terms of ghostly drama (or even a comatose person) being a popular story in 8:30 time slot...If I were to watch it on TV, at given time slot...I would have switched channel to something more kid friendly...
I dont understand what is the issue with Indian TV following fixed # of episodes format...To a viwer like me that would be music to my ears...Started watching Tumhari Pakhi for the same reason...but they completly flipped and screwed it up...🤢 I think fixed length could work great for a season...instead of watching every weeks TRP...They should look at seasons performance and then decide if to renew for season 2 or not...I have now watched a couple of shows that have had this TRP discussion every week...and it is rather annoying...
Didnt catch which character was killed in which show...I havent watched QH...may the comment was related to that?
About the writers...perhaps they did what they were asked to do...so I shuldnt be negative on them...But I had a tough time connecting with sahirs character lot of times...which was never an issue with Arnav although both were antiheros...Arnav did outrageous things, sometimes pushed the limits beyond my acceptance...but I was never confused about him...so something that could have been better...
On the whole...Comatose wife...and the love story set with that backdrop...was the biggest downer...Hoping to watch a show in future...with a more fun setting, more realxed and modern story with no ghosts and yes...a story about now and about future...

Sush,

🤗

Oh Wow!😳

😉 We share two things- the Zodiac sign(Thanx for the belated wishes😆).. and appreciation for TP. Even I felt Tumhari Paakhi was very well written (Paakhi's characterisation and the tracks supporting her were very good.) and executed...until they killed off the Anshumaan. Good for me that I was following only QH regularly...Bad for me, since I got too attached to QH...Besides killing off the leads of Season One among a host of other characters, this time, Gul's favourite vamp ended up killing her own son accidentally...He happened to be the most sensible and straightforward guy she has written too...To top it all, she gave flawless episodes depicting his death...🥺. I wanted to warn U guys on Wednesday to start praying for HS to end before she turned to such tactics...Zeenat had all the makings of a supervillain.🤔 Her chemistry was good with SAC...and being made to endure a second wife in QH, I was sure the whole forum'd be cursing Gul if she resurrected the first wife here...😆

So...I was sad to hear about the verdict...but not as sad as I have been feeling for the death of one character I was not even attached to...

There is news of Gul revamping QH..I am not sure about the details. If so, I must say I am impressed with the effort that went into HS...considering the creative team was trying to get three shows going- the new one on SP included.

ASR and SAC: The most interesting contrast between the two was that...SAC behaved like a true orphan..He was not attached to anyone..Unlike other heroes who were attached to sister or mother or even stepmother..This guy was dutiful...beyond that, he had no emotions. (I was looking forward to this story. In fact, I was just getting to connect with it after Zeenat's entry.)

Hmmm..One more thing I wanted to add about HS: The story lacked depth in a family drama..With IPK and more so with QH...there is more than the love story. Here, the other relationships were not explored at all.

Hey sush
we are left with some epis now and we've seen so many rants and felt and poured out what went wrong and what didn't
since there is no going back now so I'm gonna enjoy what is still to come I hope a proper closure is given *fingers crossed*
What worked for me was first and foremost is the man of the show Harshad Chopda I never ever followed any 4lions show before Humsafars and honestly I don't watch any hindi show cause I can't digest saas bahu sagas but I follow every single show of HC and will continue to do so till the end
SaAz worked for me the couple was is and always will be unique
Shivya being a newbie has shown alot of potential
Wanted the show to continue with logic for a long run but will settle for what we have
Harshhad has made every single sec of Sahir eternal
Hats off to him and the writer for giving us this one of a kind character

Well Said Sush👏
I felt the same even though I was down for a while .But Now I am seeing thing at different angle. No question, HC is the finest among many .He is doing a phenoenal job but the story itself can't project any actor or anything if the plot is weak...

Thanks for such a positive Review.

1) Initial character of Sahir (Shrewd but fair).

2) Photography (specially near pool). They are picture perfect.
3) Shayarees used.
4) Background music (I did not like the singing one. I liked only the music bit. Zaki's was quite nice as well).
5) Intial Zaki-Arzoo's fun filled friendship.
6) In forum, yours and Jyoti's post.
