Hi guys,

I know everyone is feeling down...I can understand...I wanted to take a moment and write a few things that did go well in the show...,not going to talk about what didn't...All along the show...there has been enough discussion about that...so here goes...please add what you think worked well for you...

OKay...so in my view...

Humsafars had two aces on their side...

#1 Harshad Chopda...who is a tremendous actor... One of the finest I have seen on TV...⭐️

#2 Their background music person...What lovely tunes he came up with...!!👏

Shivya did a good job in conveying Arzoo's emotions no doubt...I never felt at loss in understanding where Arzoo stood...how she felt...

The surprise find for me was Sehban! He really impressed me with his natural acting...very convincing in his character...Loved Zaki! He definitely has my recommendation for future projects...high potential...👍🏼

Finally the actress playing KA did an absolutely wonderful job and justice to her role...she was crazy enough...dramatic enough...and bizzare in her own sort of way...just perfect for her character...🤓

From a direction point of view...some romantic scenes really clicked...specially the one in the jungle...the rain sequence ...and the near miss yesterday...❤️

Some of the one liners of the ACP were funny...although I wished there were more of those and less of the other stuff...

My all time favorite scene is the one on the plane...SaAz first meeting...I mean when neither one of them was unconscious...

So here is to what worked...and what kept us hooked!!

Rest is a learning experience...When you create something...sometimes things work sometimes they don't...that's the way it is...

Please share your view about what worked for you...and please do add something more beyond the obvious...ha ha...yes...I am talking about HC!!!😃

A couple of Statements to set the record straight...

I had not seen or heard about Harshad Chopda before this show or any other actor in HS. Was only familiar with Gul Khans name and her work...had to ask some one who teh Gorky fellow is. So, all of the statements made above are from an affiliated persons point of view

I do not consider myself "fan" of any actor. Although, I have to say...I like work of some actors, and directors...(Lalit Mohan certainly being one).

What worked

I still maintain that the Arzoo before the marriage track was one of the best modern day Indian female leads I had seen. Many found her arrogant but I feel that was the last thing she was. She never raved about herself. She never looked down on others. Yes she was proud of who she is and where she came from be it a small town. She never let others decide when it was ok to be nice to her and when it was ok to push her around. She basically never let anyone else ill-treat her besides her elders. She had values. She never lied or took advantage of anyone. What she was, was always to your face and never behind your back. She never valued money. I dont think this girl that they established would have ever easily melted like this and accepted a polygamous marriage but they had to do what they had to do, due failing TRPs and shortage of time.
Lalit Mohit's direction was the best thing to happen to the show. All the episodes he directed were beautifully shot.
I agree Harshad Chopra is perhaps one of the most underrated actors on tv. Its been a long time since we have seen a grey character this well enacted on tv. (Not a die-hard fan but credit is due where it is due)
Sehbaan brought out the flamboyant and light hearted Zaki really well. The character use to come out like a breath of fresh air.
I liked Dadi as well she was cute.
The bonding Arzoo shared with her family, for the most part was sweet. It was relatable.

Thanks for opening a post ...I love the theme 😛

The best part of my journey with Humsafar was ( is ) watched the show with group of close friends I have interacted with in the past . Few in our group decided not to watch the show ... Nevertheless , thank you for supporting my decision and not saying , " I told you so " 🤗

Met new members who have supported my hobbies , Thank You 🤗

Now to the show ...

Have seen limited Desi shows ...Barun Sobti and Ashish Sharma were the two actors I was familiar with before Humsafar . HC , what can I say ...which has not been said . ...The man is talented and good looking ...😛

Shivya , for a new comer did a great job supporting HC.

Shebhan bought a freshness to his character ...loved Zaki 😛

Lalit , Raju ...great job as always .

Would have loved to talk about Gul ...some other day ...Want to keep it positive .

Yes the airplane sequence was fab! Now that I look back it was one of the best scenes! ^

Will miss these FAB posts n collages for sure ...loved everything about HarshadChopda but the way he emotes in this scene will always remain my favorite

Hope we all meet again somewhere in some forum ...afterall we all DID have similar interest sticking onto this story so long ...totally disheartening that the show comes to an end when we find it really interesting with Anam turning the culprit n Sahir bringing up the face off

Just noticed HC n Harneet n Aakash n Nimisha most of the Humsafars team awake until late IST hours in social media shows how disapppointed the entire team is ...

Until we all meet again ...bye ladies

Firstly what worked for me was the attempt of the PH entire team to work on such a project.

There are many show which are TRP toppers yet I can't connect with them.I connected with Humsafars.How the story went haywire is another topic will discuss some other time but i'll say it again it wasn't a bad attempt at all from my side.

Secondly which hooked me to the show was definitely Harshad Chopda. His power pact performance,his hard work and his convincing ability to bring Sahir character alive.Way to go man.I am not a previous fan of him,haven't seen much of his prior work.you are awesome.Wish you all the best..

Rest of the team supported the story well.All the best to them as well.

Hi sush...what worked for me will always be Harshad 😉 ..I don't get tired praising him...and will be waiting for his comeback. Although it was frustrating at times...I beleive everything was part of the journey and no daily soap is flawless. My favorite scenes were the Aeroplane one, Sahir pleading alvira, jungle scene, Asharfi sahir scene, romantic scenes, the door scene, pool scene...I can go on and on...made some really nice friends here..and will miss visiting the forum. Thanks for all the posts you made and thanks for the collages Swetha!!

Here I was ready to pen down some "serious" thoughts abt the episode !!

Well had never seen HC before, had heard from a friend he's good but didn't care! Now I'll say he sure is damn fine as an actor ! I started watching show due to his acting ! Now list of actors I like on tv goes Mohnish Behl, Ronit Roy, Sameer Soni and Harshad Chopra !

I really loved the BG tune, another reason got interested in the show 😛

Me loved Asrafi 😛 I say it was truly brilliant to bring pet bird! Again wish we saw more of her !!

I appreciated use of poetry, but again wish it was incorporated more often. Not only during period of love or pain, but even just to express state of mind - especially for confusion 😆

@Shweta - as always great collage ! Hope didn't have to make it on phone 😆

That scene were both in black was indeed very well portrayed and executed !

SP did good job for a new comer. Wish entire team good luck !
