Haven't watched last two epis, will try to catch up soon, but have to admit ...I'm really struggling with this show!😔 And it's not just because of the lack of subtitles / and regular WUs. And though the second wife scenario still irks me, it's not even that entirely either.
It's all the unanswered questions re past/ recent events that just seem to have fizzled out or disappeared into thin air along with all the other unexplained sinister activities in the house. Here's a list of the plethora of loose ends that seemed so important at the time but have now been conveniently forgotten or ignored:
1. Burnt factory / blackmail tape.
2. The deal of the century ! Ostensibly to fulfill a promise to Zeenat , on which everything the family owned was placed as collateral.
3. Fake pregnancy results, role of Rehman / Sam in now forgotten business deal .
4. Dead / murdered maid? In Arzoo's donated clothing? Not a word? .
5. There's been a near death shooting of Sahir, almost fatal poisoning of Sahir and Arzoo, and life seems to go on as usual ?
6 For heavens sake,how is a Zeenat able to escape from ambulance, arrive in house, immerse in swimming pool, and from spoilers sit in a wheelchair in driveway at night ??? She and her accomplices don't seem to mind putting her life at risk either by drowning or being hi by a car?
7. Instead of an MRI ,why not a few hidden cameras in her bedroom and around the house for good measure?
Even if I choose to ignore all of the above, what really and truly bugs me is Sahir's reluctance to be open and honest with Arzoo at this point, especially after just promising no secrets between them. It comes across as if he's playing both sides, and his loyalties are divided. Clearly Arzoo's is risking both life and limb by staying in that house to be with him, then shouldn't her love,bravery and loyalty be rewarded with some truth re his past and present equation with Zeenat? Shouldn't Sahir be trying harder to allay her fears and insecurities re her precarious situation and position in his life? I know the cvs are perhaps just trying to maintain the suspense ,but I'm finding it a bit too long and drawn out now. Sahir and his motivations remain as mysterious as before, it's time Arzoo gets one well deserved answers ...and us too!
