It takes two to tango always and both must be equally engaged.

Good point @Redviolet. Sahir is pushing and pulling at her in equal measures and today Arzoo expressed her frustrations and anger regarding that (after the office permission scene). Both are so in love - only thing is one realizes that she is in love and the other won't even begin to acknowledge that he feels for her. Ah my lovelies.
In real life, this would be a nightmarish situation, but this being a drama, I am so happy for Saaz - cause I know all this pain will result in a great romance :)

😃.
The thing is..Arzoo fell in love with the man the way he is...he didn't become this way suddenly...he hasn't said he loves her...so why expect him to confess all his pain all of a sudden...especially after hay insight given by Alvira something should have changed...Alvira isn't willing to tell her so she can imagine how difficult it must ne for Sahir himself...no introspection is ever shown regarding Sahir...

And yet she is so considerate towards Zaki...who is supposed to be a friend...to the point that he thinks she loves him!

I understand her not wanting to share anything with Sahir...but her not even realising he trusted for her and cared enough to ask her the reason and instead lashing out at him that he disbelieved her...that's kind of really skewed!

Aww... thanks 😊. So sweet of you.
And yeah this is something I wish Arzoo's character would do (more than her temper I think this is her real flaw) - she doesn't introspect. We see Sahir thinking but Arzoo zips and zooms from one incident to the next.

Now this is one post I agree with.We just see Sahir's POV coz we know that he's been observing Aarzoo-Zaki and misunderstanding their friendship. He has seen them in hospital and her pic photoshopped with Zaki's,but Aarzoo doesn't know all this. She just assumes that this man whom she loves was ready to save her from all the allegations made by Kurti Aapa and now when she just asked him about his past,he's in his " Farak nai parta" mode. Now he just pushes her without any reason even if she comes to tend his bleeding hand and says that she wears a mask. And now when Kurti has accused her with such a thing he's just standing silently, and doesn't think she's Paak now.I guess we have to remember that Sahir is the mature, worldly wise person who still thinks with logic inspire of having a troubled past and temper problem, but Aarzoo is in her early 20s who though is intelligent and independent still wants her man to trust her, especially when he has done the same in past.I agree that she should speak the truth to Sahir but she thinks that the man she loves is like all other people who need words to understand her.Aarzoo is at fault,I agree...but I do understand from where she's coming.

I agree completely with your post & it's exactly how I felt after today's episode 👏 Arzoo isn't answerable to Sahir! I loved Alvira today!

Hi Sheena thanks for your kind comments :). I am guessing all these ups and downs are a part of being completely besotted with a serial :)
To be honest, yesterday I was feeling quite negative and pissed off with Arzoo. But today I felt that I understood her motivations better.
I guess that unlike a movie, with a TV serial, patience is the key - the story unfolds over days. So that is my new mantra - Patience :). Until I lose it that is 😉

I think we will all need patience as it is a 4lions show! They give us so many highs then so many lows 😆 but can't stay away from their shows or their Jodi's 😆

I didn't dislike Arzoo yesterday as for me it was clear she was doing this for Sahir not Zaki!
one thing for sure is Arzoo albeit her flaws; is very loyal. She is angry at Sahir; who can blame her? Her pride is hurt and her love isn't reciprocated (From her POV) so why should she answer to him? really his sorry was washed down the drain by the argument!! In ego, arrogance, anger & denial are traits they both share no wonder they literally explode with passion on our screens when they come together. In many ways they are as bad as each other!! still love them lol

Thank you @ sho-shweet. :)
You have hit the nail on the head - we are seeing the story more from Sahir's point cause he voices his doubts and questions. With Arzoo we don't really get to see much of that except the rain scene where she realises she is in love. I could be wrong but this is the only recent instance of detailed monologue I remember relating to Arzoo.
And yes her greatest expectation is from Sahir and her grouse is that he needs words.
I am really loving the way the relationship between the two is being fleshed out by the creative team. It is a gradual realisation of love which is almost like a saga. Sigh! the romantic in me is happy :)

Oh boy! hope the lows are not too depressing. I want high, higher and highest with a few smattering of lows to keep the drama going LOL - I am greedy.
And yeah agree with your observation - they are as alike as unlike. And Harshad and Shivya are very good actors. I loved the way her voice was cracking up and his eyes were literally burning up with rage and pain.

Good to see posts from Arzoo's POV and positive ones at that. Two people, desperately in love, totally invested in each other and yet blind enough not to see what's in front of them, They both are stubborn, bull headed and hurt each other the only way two people who are deeply in love can. Each one complements the other, she is young impulsive and has a never say die spirit, he is mature, has a lot of darkness in his soul and has a past that is a guarded secret. She is the light in his life, she makes him laugh, think and react, he in turn supports her wherever she needs him and helps her to take her dreams forward.
Each one is a puzzle to the other, they say something with their words but their eyes always whisper their hidden emotions for each other . No wonder Arzoo says that if he can't see the truth in her eyes there is no point in carrying on the conversation. Arzoo's antics and caring has cracked the shell he has lived in the past 7 years, Sahir knows that and feels terribly vulnerable so he tells her to keep away but his body language and eyes tell a different story.

What struck me was that Arzoo is not a weakling, just like Sahir is used to not explaining his actions and decisions to anybody, she too being the eldest in the family does the same most of the times. When Alvira asks the family to shift to Niyamat house, the mother says they will have to ask Arzoo first. When Arzoo throws her father and his wife out of Niyamat house, Nausheen cries but does not question Arzoo or ask for explanation. Arzoo is used to being in control, thats why I think I find today's episode very endearing, infact I would have been disappointed had she stopped to confide in Sahir after the incident between them yesterday.

When he accuses of her wearing a mask, pushes her on the floor and asks her not to pretend concern about him,, she is not going to meekly tell him the truth just to console him. He told her to stay in limits and that she doesn't matter to him when she asked about his past so if he wants her to turn to him, to trust him, well he will have to earn it or find out the truth the hard way, She doesn't know that he has misinterpreted her and Zaki's interactions, she is simply hurt that he needs to question her when he should have learnt to trust her enough to know that she wouldn't do anything that would bring disrepute to him or his family.

Sahir and Arzoo set the screen on fire when they come together and I just love their interaction. I loved the way he called her as Arzoo nausheen Khan, in the earlier episodes Arzoo used his full name whenever she was vexed with him and wanted his complete attention. He is vexed too and its just so adorable that he uses the same tactics to gain her attention. They are two imperfectly perfect people only made for each other, who else would tolerate two crazies like them ? 😊

Alvira was totally spot on today, totally loved her, she was the only voice of sanity in the whole mad house. Loved the way she sent Arzoo to Sahir's room, knowing very well that he will seek explanations. She also confidently threw out the maulana and challenged KA to scheme something else. She is playing the role of cupid beautifully and I love her for being the catalyst of bringing SAAZ together.
