1> Man's v/s women's expectation from their love.
For a man, it is understanding first, trust comes later. Romance first, commitment later. For a woman, it is always the other way. It could be due to family's expectation or social obligation; she wants him to trust her even in her silence, even when she ignores him. She prefers to move around with him only after he gives her a word of commitment.
Arzoo who has been brought up in a conservative society cannot think anything different. On the other side we have Sahir, who is not ready to commit with his 'koi pharak nahi padta' attitude, at the same time wants to know what's going on in her mind 😆.

2> Our insecurities make us more demanding.
A teenage girl can explode if her boyfriend goes out with another girl. Middle aged ladies like me hardly care if our husbands have to dine with a lady colleague. All we bother about is, how to recycle the food which has remained. Arzoo, Sahir both have their own insecurities of not being loved enough. Such people will be more demanding as lovers than the ones who are well sorted in their life.

3> The ones we ignore the most are the ones we love the most.
While serving food, we serve guests first and we don't mind if a family member is served less. We always take our loved ones for granted. Not that we don't care, but with an assured feeling that we would never be misunderstood or judged. Arzoo's relationship with Zaki and Sahir is the same. She takes Sahir for granted. With Zaki, she shows that she cares.

@bollyfood thank you for your reply. Its true... with age and experience we all learn to communicate better and be more tolerant n less demanding. And your comment about "how to recycle the food made me laugh out "... cause that is true across the board in all homes :)
& we do take our loved ones for granted... though i am not sure she is taking Sahir for granted. I feel that its her expectations off him when it comes to understanding her and her motives.
and btw while traditional I still find Arzoo a true liberal... what do you think?

Great post Junoonian. Wonderfully explained and I whole heartedly agree. I also agree ( also from personal experience!) that when you are in love, you can have some pretty unrealistic expectations from your partner. The fact is, we are all human and certainly not mind readers. If reading eyes were so easy none of us would need to talk 😊 . Sahir was bang on when he said many times it's important to speak your heart. But as u say, all she heard was tell me what the truth is, the rest went straight over her head
But after seeing Sahirs anger yesterday, I truly hope that Aarzoo puts aside her demands for 100% understanding at all times and goes and puts Sahir out of his misery. Certainly, although I get why she is quiet, I do find is very frustrating and now where Sahir is under so much pressure, he needs his humsafar by his side! 😊
@VD927 thanks for your kind comments.
and i agree... about time they put Sahir out of his misery. He is in a fix from so many sides i think his head will explode. Poor fella. Arzoo staying quiet any longer really doesn't make sense to me.

Good to see posts from Arzoo's POV and positive ones at that. Two people, desperately in love, totally invested in each other and yet blind enough not to see what's in front of them, They both are stubborn, bull headed and hurt each other the only way two people who are deeply in love can. Each one complements the other, she is young impulsive and has a never say die spirit, he is mature, has a lot of darkness in his soul and has a past that is a guarded secret. She is the light in his life, she makes him laugh, think and react, he in turn supports her wherever she needs him and helps her to take her dreams forward.

Each one is a puzzle to the other, they say something with their words but their eyes always whisper their hidden emotions for each other . No wonder Arzoo says that if he can't see the truth in her eyes there is no point in carrying on the conversation. Arzoo's antics and caring has cracked the shell he has lived in the past 7 years, Sahir knows that and feels terribly vulnerable so he tells her to keep away but his body language and eyes tell a different story.

What struck me was that Arzoo is not a weakling, just like Sahir is used to notexplaininghis actions and decisions to anybody, she too being the eldest in the family does the same most of the times. When Alvira asks the family to shift to Niyamat house, the mother says they will have to ask Arzoo first. When Arzoo throws her father and his wife out of Niyamat house, Nausheen cries but does not question Arzoo or ask for explanation. Arzoo is used to being in control, thats why I think I find today's episode very endearing, infact I would have been disappointed had she stopped to confide in Sahir after the incident between them yesterday.

When he accuses of her wearing a mask, pushes her on the floor and asks her not to pretend concern about him,, she is not going to meekly tell him the truth just to console him. He told her to stay in limits and that she doesn't matter to him when she asked about his past so if he wants her to turn to him, to trust him, well he will have to earn it or find out the truth the hard way, She doesn't know that he hasmisinterpretedher and Zaki's interactions, she is simply hurt that he needs to question her when he should have learnt to trust her enough to know that she wouldn't do anything that would bring disrepute to him or his family.

Sahir and Arzoo set the screen on fire when they come together and I just love their interaction. I loved the way he called her as Arzoo nausheen Khan, in the earlier episodes Arzoo used his full name whenever she was vexed with him and wanted his complete attention. He is vexed too and its just so adorable that he uses the same tactics to gain her attention. They are two imperfectly perfect people only made for each other, who else would tolerate two crazies like them ?😊

Alvira was totally spot on today, totally loved her, she was the only voice of sanity in the whole mad house. Loved the way she sent Arzoo to Sahir's room, knowing very well that he will seek explanations. She also confidently threw out the maulana and challenged KA to scheme something else. She isplayingthe role of cupid beautifully and I love her for being the catalyst of bringing SAAZ together.

Great post true2heart - I do enjoy reading your perspective on things. You know, after my last post I regretted not mentioning Alvira and her purposely sending Aarzoo to see Sahir. I also felt exactly the same. She knew that Sahir and Aarzoo needed to talk. She has always played the role of helping Sahir and Aarzoo understand each other better by filling in the gaps for them. I hope she is there for them this week. There is no way she will believe that Aarzoo likes Zaki. She knows where Aarzoo's heart is 😊
