Humsafars given 3 month extension!
Humsafars has been doing well in terms of popularity but not so good in terms of TRP. The Gul Khan show launched with 0.45 TRP and went to 0.55 TRP rising. However in the past few weeks it has only garnered 0.3 TRP. SONY TV still has been understanding and has given it a last minute decision of 3 months extension instead of 2 weeks as in 2 weeks it would go off air. In 3 months if it is doing well such as 0.5 - even higher it will stay on longer. This means it will have until March to prove it is a hit show like Qubool Hai , Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon ( both Gul Khan shows) . It is good Humsafars will stay on air for some time , as no rushed ending is good , such as all of a sudden Sahir and Arzoo going in total love mode. Instead of Humsafars going off air the show Itti Si Khushi will go off air instead in the coming month.
