To give credit where its' due Shivya was really good in yesterday's episode and we believe she deserves a separate thread for that ... i think all of us kept thinking someone will make one but since none did we decided to do the honours ...
Sorry Shivya for being late but better late than never ...
Be it her comic timing in the 'seeng' wala scene... Her cute scolding of Myra... Her expressions during the eye lock and 'current' scenes.. Her vehement self denial of the fact that she could be in love... Or her portrayal of the girl who had just received the irrefutable proof that she was indeed in love... From mother nature!
In the first scene she was extremely natural while earnestly telling Sahir about why they needed to bump heads again... She perfectly complemented his look of incredulity.. And that made the scene funnier. Scolding Myra for going on and on about something she didn't want to accept was done very sweetly ... The stuttering ... The fake anger... The shaking of the head all added to it.
The expression of fright when he suddenly came up behind her as she fixed the lamp and the look of uncomfortable awe on her face when she found herself in his arms ... Were both very well done As she was leaving the room the way she looked at him and seemed to wonder what was happening set the stage for what happened next ... That was a nice touch.
And then came her best yet the bench scene... Talking to herself ... Telling herself she couldn't be in love and the reason ... The feelings of a girl in love who cannot believe it were depicted very nicely ... Especially the innocence on her face when she looked up and demanded proof that she thought was next to impossible ... When she got it the emotions from surprise to disbelief to a strange fear all flitted across her face ... Making it a treat to watch.
From when she saw Sahir in front of her she had the perfect lost and dazed look.. Totally not reacting to him... Moving like a robot... Unable to function normally... She actually retained that state throughout.. With just the right smile to go with it...
And the final realization that she couldn't go with him... Walking away... The slight slump in the shoulders was well done..
All in all... Her portrayal of arzoo today made the episode very enjoyable.
We have at times felt that particularly in anger scenes there came a hint of arrogance in arzoo, in our opinion Arzoo needed a touch of softness to her ... innocence in eyes ... and yesterday Shivya got all of that perfectly and made Arzoo so much more enjoyable ... 👍🏼👏
So ek thread tho banta hai!
