Does a mother's duty towards Samaaj supersedes A mother's duty that her child will go hungry at school and than forgetting to pick her up from school amidst all the chaos, just to prove Hitler's Mahaanta and Jai Jai Kaar.

Is this Reality? Sorry I do not live in India though am a descendant, but seriously is this how it is in a modern City of India? I still remember my mother making sure that all of my brothers including me, (sorry don't have any sisters) were fed breakfast, lunch packed into our bags before she would drop us to school on her way to work. Now that is (Maa)haanta.

Doing Due diligence to society and being a good samaritan is a duty for all human beings towards each other. Is there a changing of the guards? Indira (Lawyer)?, Samaaj Sewa?, Desh Sewa? It is very hard to understand the logic behind this Mahaanta. (Ya Ya, I know there is no logic in HD).

My wife and I watch the show together, So I asked her opinion, using our kids as the example. To my wife, our kids come first, than me (was really surprised), GOD, followed by Society. If someone is in need of immediate help, it is our duty to do so. But the ladies in Chaandni Chowk holding their case files, Is that an Emergency?.

A person being doused with Gasoline and set ablaze while so many bystanders eagerly Watch. Doesn't India have good Samaritan's? To my amaze this is what my wife and I got from today's episode. I am not trying to be rude, but the reality shown in today's episode is just full of nonsense.

If your going to show Drama than just stick to the Drama, but when you cross the line into Reality, there is no Drama, but just harsh reality of life.

Please do comment without bashing characters and members.

Thank You.

Like you, I also no longer live in India. But if I was an Indian citizen, I would be hugely offended by what was shown on the episode today.
Is the aam Indian citizen that heartless, cruel, and stupid that they will walk away from a woman on fire or a child who has just been in an accident? Wow!! I don't even live in India and I'm hugely offended. I wonder how the forum members who are Indian residents feel about this depiction.

Lovely post and beautifully explained the meaning of Mahaanta!!!

Agree with you. Fed up of the this mahaanta and Hitler didi jai jai kar. There is saying, First clean your home mess and then try to clean the society.

There is no reality in HD. One and only Indira is good Samartian. Rest of them are not.. What reality is this teaching. Agree the usool, truth..blah.. blah must be there.. but the cost of your child??? Parents are the one who protects their child.. Here mother was allowing her daughter to undergo mental and physical abuse from goons...

The ladies holding files;😆😆😆 and begging indira to give justice🤣 and withheld her from morning to afternoon. And Indira did not even hurry to go to her daughter school. 😆 At least later she could have called Rishi or Ishaan and told to pick up Indu from School..

Once again agree with you. At least they must show some reality!!

The story they portrayed is absolutely false. No body will be such ruthless and heartless citizen in any part of the world. Just to give an example: My grand father had accident while driving his kinetic honda.. people who saw stopped by helped him, called ambulance and got admitted. They called home to let us know by getting info from my grand father.

In HD there is no reality...they have to portray mahaanta of Indira only, and show us that she is only good samatarian and rest of them are selfish..

illa and her writers😡

Actually if I did not watch shows like Crime Patrol and Savdaan India then I would have said the same thing as you, but after watching those shows I can tell you that if a woman was on fire then people would just walk away.
I have seen many episodes of the shows I have mentioned where if someone was being attacked people wuld just stand there and would not help and I am sorry to say this is real, those serials actually show real life stories

Ps. I am not saying that everyone is like that but there are many people out there who do that and keep quiet, maybe coz they fear the same fate as the person attacked.

My point exactly. Indians are well known all over the world of being the most helpful and passionate and forgiving people. The portrayal of HD and its reality speak otherwise.

If HD is about fiction, than the writers are free to show their bullshit, what ever that may be. But crossing the line into Reality (non-fiction based) to show what? Women enpowerment?, Women have rights?, Women are strong?, Women are equal? Human beings are equal which includes both sex's male and female. If India desires a change of equality and if the production house of Hitler Didi wants to portray such change, it should start by changing Its government and by-laws or constitution.

🤣 TM! Statistically, Indian mothers take care of their sons and not daughters. (considering the stats that your mother made sure of everything, Indira forgot Indu and keepsloss of mother shown in crone patrol did it to their daughters 🤣 )
No offence meant to anyone.
This topic is turning hilarious. Indira, the head lead, as.people like to call her, is.being compared to those crime patrol ki negative shades 🤣
Dia! Girl! You are deeply offending the to be mom (in years to cone) inside me 🤣

Arrey I wasn't talking about indira. I was talking about the crowd that was just standing and watching in both instances (shweta and indu). That crowd is supposed to represent u and me you know! Does that not offend the proud Indian in you?

I am very shocked at your statement that "Indian mothers take care of their sons and not daughters". Even though we are three brothers, our mother always longed for a daughter. I am a father of three. 2 girls and a boy. I don't see my wife playing favoritism. My daughters get the best of the best. Knowledge is the best gift a parent can ever give.
