Spectators can never keep quiet for too long, you know. 😆 Some reactions are bound to surface sooner or later. 😆 I never thought that the announcement of the winner banner would attract this many spectators though. It is like a welcome extension of the comedy circus we are witnessing in the form of HD. 😉 😆

If judges make decision, then what's the point of having voting system ? I hardly heard any judge overrides juries decision ...or do they ? The voters already told judges what they want , I don't see why judge have to interfere what voters want . In real life , this type of situation actually an insult to voters or juries !!

Btw : I didn't vote ..it does't matter to me who wins or who doesn't !!

@Ace : Winner is decided by votes only and not any panel of judges .. we just made sure the voters who r voting come from a complete neutral zone 😊

Sorry, but i beg to differ here.

I work on many couples whom i don't like that doesn't mean i can't make something on the person whom i dislike. I work according to people's choice. Participating in BC is a fun job.. where it's written if a person doesn't watch a show he/she cannot participate? I'm just saying as a normal member, not as a moderator or as a fanatic.

No, no Sano. Please to not read it wrong !! I have nothing against you are any one winning the contest. I am just questioning the rules !! I personally feel what I wrote! It's fine to take part in contest and I am glad that you took so much time and energy to invest in the show that I love to watch . I was just expressing my POV about who should participate !! I don't know if I have the right to say anything here- as I didn't even vote in the banner contest- but this whole process seems to be quite unfair.

The whole point of the banner contest, as I understand is, is for people who are actually connected to the show, to vote and select the creation that appeals to them the most. Yes it should be a biased selection- I thought that was the whole point. Saying that members who may or may not even watch the show can vote for the best one fairly seems to defeat the entire purpose of this contest. If this had to be the case, then why not just blindly pick a banner? The winning banner is beautiful, no doubt, but so were the rest of the banners and I wish all fo them were given a fair shot at winning. I'm sorry but the current process appears to give in to people who cheat and try to distort the fair process and moreover, it appears that the rights of those who play a fair game are trampled on.

I am also unsure of what happened in the initial voting round. Were banners disqualified because of other members or MID's actions? This seems very unfair to those members who must have worked very hard at their creation.

I hope the MOD's take necessary action and make this process transparent to all the forum members.

Sano, you made a beautiful banner. I don't think anyone is debating that point. I also agree with you that anyone and everyone should be able to submit an entry for the contest- including people who don't watch the show. That's not the problem. But I do think that the winner should be selected by the members of the HD forum- people who actually watch the show and are connected to it. Otherwise, I don't really understand the point of having a forum, having a banner, and having this voting round. I mean people who come to the forum regurarly will be the ones looking at the banner everyday- it only seems fair that they should get a fair say in making that choice.
