Or maybe he'll return to Hogwarts to talk to Dumbledore through the potriat in headmaster's office, if not to complete his studies.. Since I don't believe in Dumbledore returning, that is the only best possibility for me.. So, he'll have to go to Hogwarts, to talk to Dumbledore.. 😃

what about ron and hermione? hermione is sure to stay back at school i think but maybe ron will opt to be with harry..... that would be sad 😭 to split the friends up

I'm sure Harry will go to Hogwarts at least once in Book 7.
As far as his protection (in Privet Drive) is concerned: Now that Harry will come to age (remember that he will be 17 soon), that protection will seize to exist.
