What Happened Here?

Before, I used to come to the HP section and BAM, so many new topics to see and answer, now a days, I see nothing! It makes me sad, this place used to be flowing with new topics and descussions! Im well aware that the series has ended, but there must be something we can talk about. I know, I know, Im not doing a good job making topics and coming around here everyday to make it active, but I still wish it were hte way it used to be!

Let me think of a new topic :

Okay, so obviously they cant include all the thigns that happened in the 6th book into the movie. So which scnese or parts form the book to you feel do not need to be mentioned, or parts that are okay to be cut from the movie?

Personally, I think that all parts are important, ofcourse the Dumbeldore lessons are important, and all, but really i cant think of naything they could take out...

As far as I knew, Moaning Myrtlle's part is gonna be cut off....this means, I guess, the Sectumsempra chapter too....Nothing will be cut off from the Cave chapter, cause after that all's important. I guess there are few unimportant parts ion the first half of the book, they might cu those ones.

i'm really looking forward to seeing "the cave scene"!! i hope gambon doesn't mess that up..!!apart from that i want to see all the pensieve scenes..but from what i'v heard, they've cut out a lot of those..the only ones they've left in the movie are, the one we see in the teaser trailer and the one about horcruxes(the messed up memory and the real memory)...

And also can you guys believe they've cut the battle at hogwarts AND Dumbledore's funeral from the movie!!! i nearly cried when i heard this news!!!!

the sectumsempra part is still there in the movie...but i'm not sure if the whole moaning myrtle part is there..

That's Crazy! Those are teh MOST IMPORTANT parts of that book! Or so I believe...I mean come'on it has to be there! Dumbeldore dying is the highlight of the 6th book...ahh snap

i know!!!! according to the producers, since there is going to be a battle sequence in the 7th movie, they thought it wouldn't make sense to include it in this one..but that's just the most stupid thing ever!!!

AND if i'm not mistaken they've kept the aragog burial thing in the movie..i mean they've actually left that in the movie and cut dumbledore's funeral!!! how insane is that?!?!?! 😡😡

Now if I'm not mistaken the movies are supposed to be based on the books right😆😉? In that case, why do the producers feel the necessity of cutting out important strategic parts of the books, just because in another book there happens to be a similar scene! Come on! The HBP book is not complete without the funeral or the battle and therefore the movie will be incomplete as well without it.

I'm sorry, but I don't think that I'm going to make the viewing of this movie a priority. I've read the book and my imagination is enough for me. I don't need some money making producers to tell me what a scene is supposed to look like and what scenes are impprtant and imperative!😡 The movies have grown progressively worse whilst the books have been progressively better. It seems the better the book, the worse the movie!

I think its a rumor .... DD's death is the main part of the whole series .... cutting DD's death means that the producers have gone nuts 😆 No way, they wont cut that scene. I think they have this much brain.

As as shellyt said, imagination is better than watching the film.....i have read the HP books atleast a hundred times, and I can see the visions infront of my eyes when i read the books. I never gave priority to the movies.

I have heard they're gonna have dumbledore die but just cut off the funeral part and evrything that happened there though not sure about this. I also heard that Luna's gonna be in the movie only for like a few seconds...I hate that coz I love seeing Evanna as Luna.But even if they cut off the important parts, its not like its the first time.
