i guess ekta kapoor is the main culprit in ruining hindi seirals with all these mahan heroines. soon after the others followed as well

even the actors at that time had a star like appeal. iqbal khan, rajeev khandelwal and hussain used to my favorites. i remember a comedy detective seiral called krishan arjun with hussain in it.

star plus used to make good serials when it started off but i guess kahani and kyunki ruined it.

due to this convo on old hindi seirals i am on youtube searching for title tracks of old seirals 😆

Krishna Arjun was comedy in the beginning but then it turned serious and was renamed Krisshna Arjun!!!!😊I loved it!!!!

Ekta started off with different ones like Kyunki, its clone Kahani and the thriller Kahin Kissi Roz for the younger audience Kutumb but soon it became similar as she kept dragging them when she herself had started off with strong and different girls in Hum Paanch!!!!

i guess when doordarshan was launched it was moslty available on;y in cities but when tv became a common thing and the masses started to watch it they prefered the sanskaari and dump female lead.

i also remember kutumb. i guess it strated off the mills and boons kind of love story in tv.

KMH was a mix of KTH and Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai with Veer-Zaara for garnishing!!!!

kitni mohabbat hai i guess was the first one with male lead hating women because of mummy issues. after that almost all shows had a male lead who hates women.

kitni mohabbat hai didnt had a mix of kaise yeh pyaar hai. i guess kasturi with karan patel as the lead was a mix of kaise yeh pyaar hai. kyph bought that rockstar male lead i guess.

Examples of alpha male M&B heroes are Rishab Bajaj (KZK), Sujal Garewal (KTH), Angad Khanna (KYPH), Maan Singh Khurana (Geet), Arnav Singh Raizada (IPKKND), well pretty much all Gul Khan heroes, etc!!!!

Robby Sabarwal (Kasturi), Arjun (KMH) are more derivations!!!!

i remember pretty much everything in kitni mohabat hai. it is the first hindi serial i watched from start till the end. before that i used to leave it half way when the story turned boring. i have only seen kmh 1and2, kaisi yeh yaariyan and edkv from start till the end.

i was never attracted to gul khan shows. dont know why. i still prefer ekta over gul. gul has too many stone faced heros. no matter what happenes their face expression wont change.

I didn't watch much of KMH, have never seen KYH as it is on MTV which I don't have and neither have I seen EDKV!!!!!

Before IB, I never watched Gul Khan show from start to end but then IB I watch for the bromance and not the romance!!!!

I watched Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for 8 years from start till end!!!!

When it started I was in school and when it ended I was in business school!!!!😆
