Agree about reuniting after ditching but given Aanchal's supposed strong character I can't see her falling into other brother's arms instantly. I am assuming that Aanchal marries Ranveer in the same mandap where Kabir ditches.

if she is a strong character her falling in love with a guy like kabir itself is impossible (if she genuinely falls for him and dont have an agenda of her own). why would a storng independent career-oriented matured woman fall for a good for nothing immature brat( he is shown to do nothing and lives of his family's money)? kabir is too immature for a grew up woman to have a serious relation with unless aanchal wants to get into the raichand family and thinks kabir is an easy target.

is that rajeev khandelwal on your dp? he is my first fav hindi serial actor and his pairing with aamna was my first fav tv couple😃. used to watch kahi to hoga when i was in 4th or 5th.

then it will be a good thing. a strongly packed crisp storyline with 50 epsidoes is always better than a 200 or 300 episode bubblegum.

the best thing about ending a show with limited epusode is even if the story is simple or lacks depth the views will be engaged since it is fast phased. almost all of the kdramas have very common cliched storyline of a rich guy falling for poor girl but are engaging since it is only 16-20 episodes long and ends in 2-3 months.

And my first favourite TV actor was Rohit Roy in mid 90ties in Swabhimaan, Rajeev came too late to be my first favourite!!!!😆

No, I didn't watch KTH when he was in it but I watched him in Time Bomb and later in Left Right Left!!!!His pairing with Priyanka in it is still my favourite!!!!😊

before kahi toh hoga i only remember watching shararat, tu tu mein mein, shaktiman and some mythelogical seires aired on doordarshan. i was too small to have favourites at that time.

i have seen the starting of left right left but couldnt follow it since i didnt had sab tv. it used to air on sony in initial days but stopped after a while.

his parirng with aamna was the best though.

I never liked his pairing with Aamna which was one of the reasons I never watched the show in the beginning!!!!

From what you will see about me in the forum (I ship Ranveer here), Sujal isn't my type!!!

I saw a few random scenes and had liked Piyush in that show!!!!

But I never liked the female lead and so wasn't interested!!!!As it is I could predict the story from a mile off!!!!

I watched LRL whenever I got a rerun!!!It was the show which defined love for me!!!!

I will always love Rajveer-Naina!!!!❤️

I watched all those you mentioned!!!!My first daily show was Shanti in early 90ties!!!!

i know the serial shanti. it had mandira bedi in the lead role. i guess my mother used to watch it but since it was a serious show i wasnt much into it. i was too small to watch and understand shows like that.

aamna sharif was one of the best dressed female leads on tv. i still remember some of her costumes from the show. at that time the female lead's wardrobe wasnt monotonous. even though she used to wear salwar kameez the most all of them were of different types. i stopped watching it after rajeev's exit from the show. i dont remember much of the storyline though. the show gives me nostalgia 😳

I was also quite young during Shanti!!!!

I used to watch it after returning from school!!!!

I loved that arrow shaped bindi!!!!I loved Shanti for her courage to take on the biggies of film industry for revenge of her mother's rape!!!!

In a way I am glad we had her instead of the heroines of today whose only motive in life is to sort out an asshole and fall in love with him!!!!She was a good role model!!!!

Aamna's outfits were nice before her marriage but I can't watch a show just for the heroine's outfits!!!!

I watched most of KTH after Rajeev's exit as I liked a lot of the other characters in it like Akshat, Varun, Swayam. etc!!!!Even Vasu and Mr. Ahluwalia were funny!!!!

As good as Aanchal's outfits are, it would be of no use if she turns out to be dumb heroine!!!!

during doordarshan times hindi serials used to have a standard and female leads were strong and independent in the true sense. i guess they were finite as well. i remember watching a seirla called khar jamai with madhavan and mandira bedi. it was a comedy drama.

i guess ekta kapoor is the main culprit in ruining hindi seirals with all these mahan heroines. soon after the others followed as well

even the actors at that time had a star like appeal. iqbal khan, rajeev khandelwal and hussain used to my favorites. i remember a comedy detective seiral called krishan arjun with hussain in it.

star plus used to make good serials when it started off but i guess kahani and kyunki ruined it.

due to this convo on old hindi seirals i am on youtube searching for title tracks of old seirals 😆
