Epiosde starts with Nikhil and Ranaavt discussing why the Nigerian business man never contacted R .Nikhil says he should have called for sake of courtesy and R agrees, he says this guy has taken secrecy very seriously. He also said he is worried that deal might go to some one else and it was too huge to loose it. Jasmine came and hugged her father. She told her father that she wanted to have dinner with Nikhil but he is always trying to evade her. R says he has never said no to his daughter and asked Nik to dine with them. Nik is not happy and says there were some guests coming for dinner. R says no Nikhil you have to dine with us as it is my daughter's wish. Nik is left with no choice and he is furious.
at Nikhil's house Laajo came home and saw Inder, barkha,rishi and Ayesha all waiting for her.Barkha asked her where was she?
Laajo said I was at rehearsals at Sagar's house.Barkha said why did you lie. Sagar came looking for you,you have not seen him in days.She went on to say Sagar did try to cover up but lie is a lie.she was very rude and asked Laajo where did she go and whom did she meet.
Laajo was shocked at Barkha's tone of implication. Inder asked Laajo softly saying I have always believed in you so please ,I do want to believe you,where were you? He stopped barkha saying am sure laajo has a reason and Barkha nods sarcastically.
Laajo says I would not say the truth. She thinks how can I say that Nikhil is involved in smuggling racket. She says I am sorry but I cannot really tell you where I go, but it is true that I haven't really attended rehearsals for a few days
At R's house Nikhil wants to take leave from Ranavat saying since dinner was over ,he wanted to go home. Jasmine says no don't go yet as I need you for some time, he says he cannot as he has guests over but jasmine insists and R says since my daughter says so please oblige her. Nikhil is very irritated and went with jasmine. She brought him to her room(it was ishaana's old room redecorated lol how suitable na😆😆😆) He asked her what was it as he was in rush. She told him to wait and sit for few moments. She asked him why did he keep running away from her. She forced him to sit, he visibly sighed and sat down. She told him that she brought something for him. She showed him a blue shirt and told him that it took forever to find a shirt for him. She asked him if it was nice and he said yes it is nice but why did you buy it for me?
She said well cant I give you a gift.
He was very angry and said I cannot except a gift from you.
She said very sweetly...I brought this with so much regard, you cannot say no.
He said please do understand that I am just your father's employee. I am not your friend.
She said but we can be friends...isn't it .he said no we cannot be.
He told her that for him she was just his boss's daughter, nothing else. Jasmine had a ugly scowl on her face. He got up and tried to leave. She called him saying so just boss's daughter...nothing else.
He turned back and told her sternly --no..
she went on to say so am nothing more to you? he said yes I told you ..and may be you don't know but I am already married. I am happily married and I really love my wife.
Jasmine just looked stunned.
Laajo is standing with head bowed, looking mahaan .
Inder said you have broken my trust and I feel that as if you just slapped me. He said you are hiding from me, from every one else...tell me what is it .I want to know now.
Barkha says she would only say something if she has a excuse. She is doing something wrong ,that is why she is doing this.
Ayesha says I cannot even believe that laajo can do any wrong. She begged Laajo to tell where had she been, even Rishi begged her to tell .Inder just turned away with helplessness and Ayesha asked her why couldn't she tell? rishi asked Laajo why was she hiding every thing from them.
Barkha told them to stop bickering ,if she did not tell Nikhil then why would she tell you .She doesn't care about Nikhil any more . she went on to insult Laajo by saying that all she wanted was the things for comfortable life style ,she got that ,she wanted Nikhil's money so she doesn't care about Nikhil or his family. Barkha went on to say that Laajo even cheated the person who made her into Trishna--Sagar, she said she even lies to Sagar. Barkha asked inder that he always thought of Laajo as very principled and grounded, now where were her principles.
Nani says can you please tell me what is going on? Barkha says mom why don't you ask her , may be she will tell you ,ask where does she go, who does she meet and what does she do?
Nani says I know Laajo that you have done nothing wrong but please tell me what is happening.
Jasmine recovered and said coyly that so what if you are married .It is not Victorian era and am sure your wife wont object if I gave you a gift. Nikhil is surprised .She said even my dad wont have a problem if I gave you a gift. Nikhil said with barely concealed rage--- cant you get it , I have problem accepting a gift given by you. I have noticed from few days you keep trying to get cozy with me but I am genuinely not interested. Since it is late I better leave.
Jasmine is furious and asks him to wait. He turned irritated asking her what was her problem and what did she need now?
Jasmine brought the scissors out and behaved like a weirdo and freak .She asked him so you wont accept a gift from me. Are you sure?He asked her what the hell was she doing? She kept cutting the shirt in threatening way , Nikhil held her hand away from shirt and told her that this kind of obsessive behavior was not going to scare him ,if she thinks she can blackmail him then she can dream on...He left in a rage.
At Bharadwaj Mansion Nani asked Laajo very lovingly to share where she went. Laajo apologized to nani and said she couldn't tell her the truth . Inder is furious and yells why?Laajo if you did not do anything wrong then why cant you tell. Laajo kept quiet.
Barkha is frustrated and says if You did not want to tell us then why did you keep it from Nikhil,he loves you , He trusts you and even you say that you love him .but how would he feel when his trust would be shattered and did you not feel ashamed by lying to Nikhil.
Nikhil walks in at that moment and asked what lie did laajo tell me?
every one else looked bit worried while Barkha looked like cat who found the cream. She said you came at the right time Nikhil .Do you know where Laajo goes every day ---to the rehearsals...
He said yes so...
Barkha's face lits up and said Oh great...did you hear that Inder.
Nikhil prompted her again asking what was going on. Barkha said you should ask Laajo.
she tells every day that she is going to rehearsals. Now you ask her where does she go. Nikhil looks at Laajo admiringly and she slowly moves her head to prompt him to stay quiet.
Nikhil looked at his mom and said so ... this is how much you trust Laajo, and this is how you accuse your daughter in law. Just consider her the culprit how convenient .
Yes she might have lied but for me...
Barkha is ready with counter argument saying so here comes a story in her defense so lets hear it .
He says It is not a story but your son was about to be arrested by CBI. every one is shocked including Barkha.
Inder asked Nikhil arrest and you...He got very serious and asked Nikhil to tell him the whole truth right away. He told them how he got involved in the mess and how he was trapped ,he explained about the attempt on his life by rival gang and they showed Barkha's shocked face(am sure she will use the excuse saying Nikhil got trapped because of Laajo) He then explained about CBI's involvement and Laajo's plan.
