His whole world came crashing down. Avi felt as if the ground beneath him had vanished. Before him lay the lifeless body of his beloved Arpita. His legs didnt support him & he fell down.. "Arpita... Why did U do this? ", he yelled in pain. He held himself responsible for this state of hers. He skidded beside her, "Arpita, Open ur eyes. I cant see U like that. Pls Arpita." There was no response from her. He slid his right arm below her neck, his left arm below her knees & carried her in his arms.
