I'm a sucker for metaphoric/figurative/alluded story telling, and I love how you accomplished that here, with a few diary entries - just 5 to be precise, and you had told an entire story. I loved how the Gulaal in your story was obstinate and yielding at the same time, like a person with so much love to give, that after she lost Vasant she picked a diary to give it that way, and when Kesar stepped in, she didn't resist or wall out his coming into her life consciously! When she did try to fight him - it was, like you said, too late. So in a way, this Gulaal, is more like the Gulaal from the show right after Vasant's death - who was still willing to pick up the pieces and fight for her existence and purpose - than the Gulaal in the show after a decade, who was much more an automaton than anything else!

This has to be my favorite from all your writings so far Alanta 👏 Keep writing!

P.S: I just loved loved loved the last lines where u have narrated how vasant's soul traveled to the sky being all light up n being very happy n contented to see gulaal being happy in her life with kesar 😃 it was brilliant yaar 😊
