LOL Galool bhi koi kam nautanki nahin hai...she changes her tune on this doodh v/s chai debate whenever it suits her😆...she only DEIGNED to give Kesar chai but ONCE after bechara spent alll night doing her seva...uske baad chance only ever came up much later and she was back to DOODH again😆...sacchi what a jhooti she was there...ofCOURSE she's always given zor...kisko jhoot bol rahi ho, Galool?😛😆

I can almost imagine the final confession scene revamped, where Gulaal brings in 'doodh' for him, and doesn't find him - and then walks into him, as in the real scene, and asks him where he was cause she brought him 'doodh' to drink 😆 But if that had happened, confession to pata nahi kab hota! Pehle to we'd be entertained with another round of the unresolved doodh vs chai battle! 😆 LMAO I can so imagine this🤣 Confession would have been totally derailed for a doodh v/s chai debate YET again😆

Like her 'sulking' this entire impose drinking milk habit is also quite exclusively reserved for dear Kesuda - because she gave Vasant only chai from day 1 😆 Kesarji gets special treatment to make dole shole 🤣LMFAOOO dole shole???🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Brilliantly summed up, Jzee👏👏...I love how you've brought out the paradox in her thoughts...which she herself isn't aware of...she keeps on repeating that this is only about a responsibility that Vasant left her...she sits and clings to those mojdis...but that symbolism is FAR greater than she comprehends...despite what so many ppl have told her time and again...she clings to one line of thought regarding this being Vasant's dream but she doesn't comprehend the FULL ramifications, the FULL meaning of what it REALLY means to step into those mojdis...and the writers have written this BRILLIANTLY...

Nur the paradox is the highest in Gulaal's case over this entire idea of the mojdi being a responsibility she is retaining on transiently, until she can hand them over to the rightful owner. The very Gulaal, who talks to Vasant and herself here, about waiting a decade to be 'relieved' of her responsibility - sounding tired like its been a burden for long enough now, and sealing it with that accusing look at Vasant like he's been so unfair in extracting his 'debt' from long long ago - she is the same Gulaal who later in the show, when the time truly approaches to be 'relieved' of the 'burden' confesses to Kesar that she secretly wishes something could happen to make her stay! She names it to the credit of the house and the family that means everything to her - and yet, at this early point, the same house and family are such a liability on her steadily worn out self, that she only wants to hand it over! The contradiction in that points only to the obvious - she had never needed or wanted to get rid of the responsibility - she had only ever needed/wanted Kesar to her partner in it. So when the semblance of what being partners in this responsibility begins to show up, and look so dream like a reality - she wishes she could stay forever! And at this point when that being partners idea seems not even an option - given both Kesar's incapability to step into that role, and her oh-so-much-trouble promise to Talli, she only wants to escape the cage she has locked herself inside!

I remembered that too...it's so interesting the way they wove the bangles metaphorically into the storyline...Gulaal DEMANDED bangles from Vasant while Kesar always yearned to give Gulaal the bangles he chose for her but never managed to do it directly for quite a while...ultimately when he gave them to her, that too he did in secret...

Manasi seriously has such GORGEOUS big eyes!

I love this portion of the scene for especially how it highlights her eyes and just how big, beautiful and expressive they are😍

Nur - that siggie is so happy and pretty!!!! But I hope you'll be making some from tonight's 'humesha se sundar' scene too ☺️ I think Gulaal might have looked her near best in open air at that point! Although getting her hair open again in the much later mandir episode was such a mass relief 😆

JZ...Word to what you said!...I love how you've put down the paradox of both these individuals..

@Kesar's silence...so true..Gulaal was the reason he remained quiet about this issue...tried to comprehend it in his own way..

Well said again about how they needed to be partners in responsibility👍🏼

Nurrr! that siggy is so awesome...so mischievously flirty but in a very GK way...love it..

P.S. Also like your Saiyaan siggy...kinda hoping that show turns out to be a nice one..

Do you ever just sit at a random cafe or on a to and fro work ride - thinking about their random scenes? I've had too many crazy reminiscing spells these last couple weeks... beyond the excellence of the show, and all its little details and intricacies, there is just odd reality to their love story - the finale confession keeps coming back to my mind, and I can't stop thinking of hos simple but powerful their love is! It's so real - and then I snap to myself and wonder if such a complex and profound love in reality can ever be so simple too?! I don't quite think there can be another love story like this one!

Oh I sound like one crazy phangurl - but watching Gulaal is almost like a brief spell of a brand new phenomenon in my life! Sigh. And I love the actors, and the script, and everything else - but beyond all my 'logical and analytic appraisals', what I love love love the most is how Gulaal and Kesar and their love story has seamlessly crossed the line of fiction awareness inside my head - to become a whisp of something so real! This is so hard to explain! I keep making those n comparisons each day, of people, situations, food, home habits - what not - with the show and its characters! Like I'm seeking out signs of it and them in the life around me - which is so silly, because its so different! Oh I must be losing it ☺️

Hey thanks, Maz! Yes it's mischievously flirty in a way very unique only to GK😆

Oh thanks about the Saiyaan sig too...I'm also hoping the show is decent...everything else on TV is beyond crap right now *sigh* Need something new to watch as well.
