@Reemz: I mean just look at the difference in promos only naa...the GK story was never advertised long term...like with the new show or many other shows, they show romantic shots of the pair and their after married life or whatever to pull in the phangurls even before the story actually starts.

But Gulaal let the story unfold piece by piece...it's not meant for ppl easily satisfied with typical cliched lame romantic scenes.

GK got such EPIC build-up...a kind I've never seen before and I seriously doubt any show will be able to match up to that anytime soon.

Its kind of strange how the production house never felt the need to extensively promote this forbidden kind of love story even though the trps weren't up to the standards required by the channel. They simply let their work do the talking :) Like how it should be!

VJ, I have been an Indian serial junkie for most of my life. I've seen all kinds of shows but now I've come to a point where after watching something Gulaal, it's very difficult to go back to a 'normal' show which is of the same quality as any other on television. It's not that there aren't any good dramas out there but they will still seem like a downgrade for me now.

Waise maybe they didn't promote the GK story to keep ppl guessing so that even till the very last epi of the show, we have ppl coming up with the "logic" that the show went "off track" by showing Gulaal falling for Kesar whom she otherwise considered a "son"😆😆 and the "real ending" should have been Gulaal going off to heaven with ghost Vasant.🤔

I was thinking the GK scene!!The chemistry was so instant and I loved how it changed within a few minutes from the Gulaal who was caressing Kesar to the eye lock they had during the coin toss. SO many layers right there and then...so many!

I'm really excited for the caps too 😃 In a way I'm glad you 2 joined later so at least now we can re-visit those scenes in a fresh manner :P
