Hi all , taking the liberty to come in...

@Nur :In the early days I always found the show beautiful cinematographically and from direction , acting,etc point of view - but I too couldnt relate to the GV relationship the way it was shown , though I liked Vasant and Gulaal as separate characters ... the garba at mela was scenic beauty but did nothing to my heart , in all honesty ... whereas with Kesar ...it was instant chemistry between GK from the word go , which didnt need sets , didnt need external colours ...it was so deep and ingrained in every breath they took together... and your caps add such life to them and show the minutest details of that beauty ...even in the last epi caps , the way you captured everything , including the "shy smile" of Kesar at the end ..was such a treat...😍

@Reemz : I must say that it was the imli scene which really hooked me to the show - I have missed the GK scenes before that - and in that "getting hooked to the show" , I clearly remember the impact of the post you made at that time , named something like "the last 30 seconds of the show" ...that was such a landmark post for me - I was doubly hit by the realisation that here is one hell of a show and here are one hell of a set of people who understand the show ...and rest is history , I have not been able to leave the forum or the show till date...

@JZee : My liking for your posts and my amazement at their detail and sheer genius is something I have always openly maintained and still do ... regarding your wondering how it would have been to watch the show from the beginning , I can share what happened to me - watching it now from teh first epi has a different retrospective feel and understanding and I am liking watching it again , mainly to relook at how they unfolded the story and to understand Kesar and Gulaal better since I didnt watch the mid part of the show ... But when I was watching it the first time from the beginning , I found photography etc beautiful , but didnt like Gv that much and finally when Gulaal was widowed, I found it too much depressing to view and stopped watching... , then when DV story was announce on IF , I couldnt relate to it and was even more determined to not watch 😲 - little did I know at that time that how the CV's planned to show it and what a dynamite lay in store in the form of Neil and Mansi as Gk !

I shudder to think now what an opportunity I would have missed if I had not come back to the show ...My God, I am so glad I did come back...👍🏼

Finally , while beating myself up for creating any possibility of having missed the show , on second thoughts, i will also grant myself this that somewhere , I had probably not given up on the show even when I wasnt watching regularly - I kept coming back to check it out - saw some Ali episodes ...and then the imli scene ... 'the last 30 seconds of the show" that day , as Reemz says...and it changed my life ...

Thank God for Gulaal , God's grace that I didnt miss out on this wonderful masterpiece...

@ Maz and @ Nneill : Its always a delight to see you appear on and off and "leave your mark" , as Jzee calls it...

Hii.. Everyone...
You know guys??? This whole Gulaal journey became more beautiful because of you forum members...😊
Even after its end it is the only healing i have now with me...
I was always interested in this show from the beginning but was not a regular viewer since my whole family was hooked to Big Boss😡 and moreover i had to give my exams that time..
But i was always updated about the show from the promos...
When i saw the DV promo..😲 I was shocked!!!! and watched that episode only...
But the day i saw the promo of first MahaEpisode after the Leap saying
"Par Kya HAi Kesar Ke Mann Mein???", I never left even a single episode...
For me there can never be any better show on Television...
I who used to be 24hrs TV animal now have lost all BHAVANA for TV...Its better to watch Gulaal from beginning instead... And again you guys have made it more enjoyable.. So thanks to all😊

Sorry for the Boring stuff written.. But i just wanted to talk my heart today...

@VJ: You know my journey with this show was a bit similar...after the first 4 epis or so, I stopped watching cuz I thought the GV love story was too cheesy and I thought the show was going too fast regarding the "real storyline" of the girl finding the water...😆

Then I got distracted with other stuff and stopped watching the show for quite a while but I also remember reading articles about GV marrying and ultimately the DV...and I remember I was quite shocked and disgusted and thought what the hell are they showing on TV these days. And like you, I too resisted and REFUSED to watch the actual epis...just reading about the storyline, I jumped to the conclusion that it was a disgusting concept and not something I would want to watch.

But never have I had to eat humble pie before like this...lol...I don't even know till this date what made me watch a random clip on YT while browsing around...and despite myself I was intrigued enough to watch a few more scenes...the rest as they say is history...The scene that hooked me in a sense I'd say is the one when he tended to her at night after she was sick...in particular that very last bit where she says, "kahan tha tu, Kesar" and the way he tells her to quiet down and the look they share after he puts his finger on her lips...there is this SHINE in Manasi's eyes that is really something else...that scene motivated me enough to finish all the scenes on pgina's account and then start to watch the full regular epis in June...lol

@smarty22: Aww that's very sweet of you...and I loved what you said about losing all BHAAVNA for the rest of the shows on TV...lol...so true...it's best to just go back and watch old Gulaal epis...you can literally pick it up from any point and feel gripped again...the writing, the ACTING, the direction is of such a high caliber.

Obviously GK have no chemistry, Nithya...since there were no cheesy HAWT scenes filmed on them🤔😆...that is how "chemistry" is measured by 90% of the audience😆

Yeah they have no chemistry,but when they come on the screen together i hardly blink.thinking i dont wanna miss a second when tthey r on the screen.My eyes & heart light up when i see them together & ofcourse this is not chemistry😆.This is a mystery how come two people without saying anything or in fact not touching each other are conveying so much that even in the other so called shows where there is so much of chemistry with eyelocks,duppatta flying & of course fainting are not able to convey
