Gulaal says she has no complaints from him, but its time for him to know the answers. He says he doesn't want to know till the day arrives when she thinks... she interrupts and says today. She turns towards him and says she told him he has no right to know, today she wants to give him that right to know the truth about her, that she never told anyone else.

Gulaal tells him that the night of her wedding Vasant shared his dream with her about a united family and village, and took a promise from her to support him in this mission, she had no idea back then she would have to do this alone. Clearly she regrets making that promise. She did the deeyarvattu also to keep the family together. Then she found out that Dushyant killed Vasant, on one hand was her husband's killer and on the other her promise made to her husband, she chose her promise and buried Dushyant's knowledge within herself because she knew that the family and probably even the village would break. She then looks at Kesar and asks him if he understands how much pain she must have gone through seeing Dushyant every single day, in the last 10 years she died everyday but then seeing her family happy she became stronger, she decided to kill the demon inside Dushyant and was successful, but she was not able to fulfill Vasant's dream, everything was destroyed and she couldn't do anything.

She weeps, Kesar puts his hand on her head consoling her, she turns to him and holds his hand and hugs him weeping bitterly against his chest and he holds her. Kesar tells her no matter what everyone says, she is not wrong. Gulaal looks at him shocked. He tells her that she is innocent, she hasn't done anything, he tells her that he must speak today, he doesn't know what will happen when the deeyarvattu breaks, what their relationship will be, but today he has not only respect for her but even more love than before, Dushyant chose his own punishment, but nothing will happen with just punishing him, they need to find out who wanted to kill Vasant, because their jeep was hit three times so it wasn't an accident. Gulaal is shocked. He tells her he tried to investigate but could not find any clue except for the driver of the jeep, he will have to find him soon and will reach the root of this. I love how strong Kesar is, seeing Gulaal upset he is truly there for her and even though he cries he doesn't get overly emotional and just accepts her emotion and is a strength for her. The way he was trying to console her by putting his hand on her head was awkward, but she just hugs him and cries. Even with all this he doesn't forget his mission of finding Vasant's killer. The next morning Kesar asks around for the jeep driver, a kid tells him that he comes to meet his brother on Wednesdays, which is tomorrow.

Kunal is having food with his mother and asks why she and his father are doing this, the conversation ends with him saying that he will marry nobody but Talli.

Poonam comes to see Gulaal bringing home supplies for her. Gulaal is happy to see her. Poonam tells her she was worried about Gulaal when she heard she and Kesar left but now she thinks this was a good decision, Gulaal and Kesar are living their own lives and she should never return to the family where nobody cares about her. She brought sweets for Kesar as well. Gulaal tells her that there is no life without her family, she thinks everyday that Mota Bha will send someone to get her, but to no avail. Kesar overhears this. Gulaal clearly doesn't see what she has in front of her. I feel so bad for Kesar, I just want her to realize and see what is right there in front of her before it leaves her. I want to see signs of her love for him, and by love I mean husband-wife love. Kesar asks Poonam when did she come, Gulaal is shocked to see Kesar's clothes muddy and dirty, he says the bicycle slipped in the mud. Kesar asks Poonam what did she get for him, she gives him sweets, he starts eating and praises it, Gulaal asks him to wash up first, he tells her not to stop him. Poonam touched tells him that the way he went against his family to support Gulaal, few people do that, her only request is that he should fulfill his husband duties like this. Kesar looks at Gulaal. His expression is either like he wants to do it if Gulaal lets him, or what do we do with this new ray of hope Poonam has now, how do we tell her the truth.

Precap: Kesar is getting his bicycle ready and tells Gulaal he got a very big order for sarees, now everything will be fine. Gulaal comes to him hurriedly and holds his hand in tears saying that she has lost a lot in her life, if something happens to him...he tells her lovingly that he knows she cares a lot about him, but he assures her that he will take care of himself, after all he has her responsibility on his head, how can he let anything happen to him.
