I honestly didnt think it was fast for Gulaal coz this is Kesar who gave her such a heartfelt sorry and so on, and saw him crying 'the dynamic shifted hugely from yesterday - and i say from the DV scene for now' (i think what i was surprised about was seeing her smile after so long lol), i dont know i didnt find it odd - coz if i am honest, its how i saw Gulaal to be esp the huge burden off her (and i understood her aprenhensive on taking the friendship route, i understood her finally being free and what she felt and forgave Kesar for what he did, seeing as he was saying, and Kesar knows he went the wrong way about it and hurted her and soon )esp as her stances where breaking in what Kesar said to her yesterday and then in the DV as she was processing what he said and why and so on and then the MB scene, you saw how they were looking at one another - and actually making eye-contact

As i said in another post, the convo of the bedroom scene has to come into play with interlink of this 3 months period thats how i see it and by Gulaal feeling it... at somepoint in the future it has to come back

I think they've purposefully skipped the whole awkward 'KesarlovesGulaalmadly' emotion because GK just want to be at a position where they both can be just 'platonic' towards each other but we all know that is impossible with these two. They were never platonic! So for now, they can act like all is well but awkwardness will creep in again when they realise they can't just ignore what happened.

Nur - So it is that! Yeh, I did think it was quick make over for Gulaal - faster than expected - and for a change (not a happy one) the dialogs for Gulaal in that opening scene were too vague and all encompassing... the beating around the bush kind, which we don't usually get from these CVs. All in agreement.

I have to admit you raise this whole new point that I entirely missed in my 'rosy vision' of how it's boiled down again too Kesar apologizing and Gulaal forgiving the kid. Interestingly, this sits down hence with Gulaal - Kesar has matured to understand he's still a kid for me. Which is *shudders* yes, very scary, and unfortunately credible as vitange Gulaal's line of thought. On that note - I hope her giving him milk instead of tea was not a pun 😳 I was too busy going awww over it to remember that having milk makes one a kid in this show - and she didn't make him tea, didn't even trust him to make it for himself... *apprehensive sigh* you're right. He's still that kid to her. And maybe that's what this quick U-turn on her part is about - regaining her bond with 'child Kesar'. On that note I repeat - I'm disappointed yesterday's night confrontation was ignored like it never happened. Because it was one of the most vital GK conversations, ever. And in fact, it strikes me, that perhaps Gulaal's hesitance in bits - when he offers to be friends, and when he tells her he's too used to her saath - are probably on account of fearing her loss of 'child Kesar'... oh really?! Sheeesh! What a burst of bubble - now I've convinced myself she's treating him like a kid all over again. And this time, Kesar is actually giving in to all that because he's resigned to let Gulaal be happy- whatever the cost!

Dushyant - please come spill the beans soon and bring Durgesh along so Gulaal can really need a man and find only Kesar? [yeh, I know what i said about knight and damsel scenario... but there are dire times in life!]

You do have a point. And You might be more than just intuitively right about Kesar's love confession missed by Gulaal - in the Poonambaa convo.

It has to at some point - thats the way i see it, and when they do - we will be talking about 😆
It was as i said very much needed to get KG ot a starting point, but him loving her and so on, that cant be ignored and will have to come into play again but for now lets have some nice progress between the two lol...
This show loves inter-connecting and so on, so it will 😉😆

Ok I have to disagree about giving milk equals to G treating K like a kid. I still have milk and I'm not a choti bachi :P Aaand how many men know how to make chai anyway? :P That doesn't mean she was patronising

Oh you can say that never be platonic thing all over again Reemz - sure they can't be. But it is vague how Gulaal tells him all his sins are undone (like Nur points) and there is neither conversational nor introspecting dialog from her, for us to understand why she's suddenly so relenting. Yes, he was going to set her free - but sure, she didn't forget just what he told her the night before that? Again, I say, I'm not sure what to make of that chapter being utterly ignored.

So the only way to explain it is by assuming Gulaal is still treating him in part a kid who was all wrong but has now found sense - and when the only times she's hesitant or apprehensive (because we established they can't be platonic) is when she sees tell tale signs of the grown up Kesar that she's just trying to dismiss while she can happily co-exist with the kid version as she's been used to for years.

LOL Reemz - I'm being literal here. I said how drinking milk is considered 'kid-like' in this show 😆 There have been 2 references to it - although Gulaal did drink milk herself when she wasn't well 😆

Okay what I'm really trying to say is (to repeat myself) that maybe she's just trying to let bygones be bygones and happily coexist with Kesar (her ward/protegee/synonymous to that) as she always yearns to and has. Because he has backed off, she's jumped the chance to relent and be happy. She's still ignoring the whole picture - and that leads to those dark seconds we saw in her eyes, when he put his hand out, or when he told her he's too used to her... She's just figured Kesar's given her the option to live with only half the person he is, and deal with only half his emotions - the non confronting kind - and she's taken up the offer because she too has tired of being warrior princess!

I honestly do not see her treating as a kid 'the child Kesar', she knows he is an adult and so on - her giving milk was her way of saying look i have this right on you as we are now friends, and i want to give you milk - but its up to you if want to drink it and so on, and the bantering started
If she was treating him a kid, i dont know i how i could of missed that point, or even i am seeing another show lol
I think right now between Kes-Gul, what you see is what you get...
I do agree with when Gulaal came after Kesar saying I still love her, i think i agree with Reemz for now that ILU frenzy has been stopped coz its not something both want to i dont know talk about, but like Reemz say they cant ignored it as well, esp in the future when it creeps back in
But i do see some hesitatancy in Gulaal esp when Kesar talked about having her saath for now and what it will be like in after 3 months, and so on
Its only gonna get harder when the time reaches it due date, it will be interesting to see what these 3 months brings for her and how she sees it, a change has to happen

@bold: Yeah that's what I was trying to say...Gulaal basically wants her COMFORTABLE Kesar back...and let's be honest...which Kesar is that in Gulaal's eyes? The one she can baby...the one she think of as a 'nasamajh' who doesn't know what's best for him...and I'm not saying this just cuz she gave him milk...no, it's in her body language otherwise also...just note how she pats his arm just as she's about to leave the room in the first scene and he stops her with the whole 'will you be my friend?' bit...note how she looks at him in indulgent bemusement when he says he'll make tea and doesn't want milk...there was a commanding confidence in her tone as she told him that Motabha will come around...it's like Kesar is letting her take over the reins again since that is what makes HER happy...that is the role she plays best...when she can run his life for him...and I don't know what that means for the dynamic hereon...and anytime Gulaal just shoves Talli at Kesar ki do this for him, do that for him...again she's grouping them together like her two fav. responsibilities/children.

Honestly all that really bothers me about today's epi is how SATISFIED she looked that Kesar admitted that HE was wrong...that didn't sit well with me. I'm not sure if Gulaal will EVER realize the mistakes that SHE'S made...now toh even Kesar is giving in to her easily.

Today Kesar's thoughts were once again crystal clear to the audience...while in Gulaal's case, again we are only left to speculate based on her body language...today she was relieved, HAPPY...because she could go back to behaving with Kesar the way she's comfortable with...he admitted his mistakes, said sorry...the world is a happy place again...

She doesn't forget, she suppresses and hides. For now all she knows is that Kesar has agreed to release her from this deeyarvatu i.e. he won't do anything that will frighten her very soul and make her re-evaluate the life she has been living so far. The scene wasn't there for nothing, it will come back to haunt her again.

As usual Gulaal is under this delusion that she can live in her lala land without any pressure.
