I don't think there is anything Kesar can do because no matter what, Gulaal will have that Vasant line between them. The options for Kesar are exhausted! He can only think of their future ahead if Gulaal allows him to. Right now she won't even talk to him so what does he do exactly? What is the correct way to go about it?
These two have exchanged exact positions from not so long ago. When Kesar returned, Gulaal was where he is today - she couldn't figure his exact problem, because he would only spit venom and not name the exact problem (just like Gulaal is right now) and Gulaal thought she had lost all ways to get through to him anymore, that she'd been shut out.
We have a reverse scenario now. Kesar is the one shut out. And the only way something can move forward from here, is by Gulaal giving in, despite herself, as Kesar did at that point. One can say Gulaal doesn't love him (or think so) atm. But neither did Kesar, back then. So they are equals at the point. A wall came down between them the day Gulaal fell ill - and we've come back to the other side of the same coin at this juncture with the shown precap. The two of them just can't bear seeing the other suffer - no matter what.
It's not as if post that night nothing went wrong between the two - but it broke the ice, and Gulaal could finally get that foothold to jerk Kesar out of cold facade and question him every time he was wrong. She'd finally seen a window of hope - a window of his vulnerability, despite the faceless unfeeling avatar he had donned all the time before, so even when he brandished wrath at her, or tried to shut himself again, she was no longer as clueless as prior to that night. Other factors came in, like they will now too - but it broke the ice. Maybe tomorrow will again!

The other significant line of the epi was by Revji bhai...when Poonamba says that Kesar will take care of Gulaal...and he replies...'first Kesar needs to take care of himself'
Excellent point Nur. That was like summing up the goal Kesar should be striving for at this point.
Thanks for the post Len! 😃 I for one am really hopeful about the PRECAP. JK is getting what she called for, but Kesuda can start reaping benefits of his long talk with God today 😆
