I loved reading your post so much but I feel so hot and bothered to give a lengthy reply, so I shall keep it short.

It's amazing how much Gulaal gets away with Kesar. When it come to everyone else there is a sense of obligation (and respect too of course) and you always feel that she is scared to disappoint any of them i.e. Talli, Sudha etc. But with Kesar it's the total opposite. She will treat him however she wishes to because she has that right over him (no matter how much she denies that 'haq' relationship between them). She KNOWS that HER Kesuda will take anything from her.

I could not agree more about Kesar thinking in steps without looking at the potential long term effects. Yes he loves her, yes he wanted her back but does he understand what being married really means? No he does NOT. He just knows that he needs Gulaal by his side. He's very innocent regarding a lot of matters hence the 'what are you doing in my room?'. Dude she's your WIFE, which you keep harping on about. Where else do you expect her to go?

He knows he is physically attracted to her but he doesn't know what to do about it. While Gulaal thinks thats all he wanted her for (deep down as you said, she doesn't think that at all).

I just love watching how they rub off on each other. The effect they have on the other. SIMPLY FASCINATING!

Worddd...I loved how you put that bit with "Dude, she's your WIFE...where do you expect her to go?"😆😆

And yes, I also agree that Gulaal feels she can get away with practically anything cuz this is Kesar...she knows he will take anything from her...this is like a subconscious understanding on her part that will probably never admit it to but rather insist on talking down to him only.

I just rewatched that scene actually and watching it again, you get even more of a sense of just what Gulaal SO desperately WANTS to believe...even after Kesar tells her she's misunderstanding him...she goes, 'aur nahin toh kya? Why ELSE would you force me to come back...you CAN'T love me...you only WANT me"...

And Kesar is so innocent...he was like shocked into speechlessness at what she suggested😆

But hey unwittingly only...Gulaal has gotten him thinking...he will definitely dwell on this statement and start to understand his own feelings more and what he intends to do about them.

@ bold - excellent metaphorical comparison Ganga! 👏

This post and ppl's thoughts here are great - i love how we can all discuss this and give our view and see each other's view and also that we all have similar line of thoughts, and so on - and how we see depth in KG and what they are to each other and so on

- thanks to you all to participate of course! Like I said, this forum has some brillinat thinking minds - which truly this show deserves!

in the sense i said that Kesar faces a big change in his character then Gulaal does coz Gulaal doesnt need to change as a person at but Kesar has alot of growing to do in his soch - he sometimes sees things black and white and so on and like you says in parts rather then seeing the whole thing and what the result will be at the end, coz he acts on impulse, thats why i said it was good that Gulaal gave him such a big talking to, one that he has to dwell on and also for Gulaal to dwell on what she has said to him as well, in accusing of that one thing, and like you say deep down Gulaal doesnt believe that what she said is Kesar and he could be that low, but right now all you will see his anger and that too will be directed at Kesar, tables have turned we are gonna see Gulaal how Kesar was when he first arrived, and how each and every little thing he directed at Gulaal, and i think Gulaal direct her anger most at him and so on
Yup! It is as if Kesar views his life with Gulaal through gulaal colored shades and Gulaal looks at his claims through grey shades - they don't seem to look at the real picture - neither of them, in complete, although o Kesar's credit, his thinking in part is hugely accounted to his upbringing age and all that but he still strives far more than Gulaal to at least question. He just never seeks answers the right places!

Another thing striking to me is when she says my soul and mind is so far away and so on and its not here anymore... but what if Kesar is that soul (or do i say Vasant was her soul in a way???), didnt we see last week her being disturbed and stirred when Kesar's screams came though whenever he was - if that wasnt Soul connection, or Soul-pull then i dont know what it is So basically, everything on Gulaal front boils down to her obstinacy to not look at any justification for Kesar. Like Nur said, it's easier for her to shun him, and his claims of love, if she can make herself believe they are all lusty, selfish and immature!

Kesar will take every word of hers seriously, he just needs guidance. Gulaal just cannot get herself to accept the fact that Kesuda is in love with her. For her its impossible to fathom and she will try so hard to deny his feelings for as long as she can.

But one day all will change 😈 When she realizes that this guy is willing to do anything for her and at the same time show that he can be mature and selfless.

I do wonder though...will Gulaal continue to STAY in his room?? Or will she leave by the next episode and go back to her room?😆

The way this scene went, it seems hard to imagine them both staying in the same room...Kesar seems too taken aback that she even THOUGHT of living with him in this room😆 and Gulaal is currently fully disgusted with him...so where will this go?😕

She put Vasant's photo on the cabinet so it seemed like she would settle down there. Can the phangurl in me root for them to continue living in the same room? It just gives more scope for their scenes :P

Aww, yeh man, you can't help but have your heart go all out to him. Its like we discussed Nur , the other day, he's back to being that kid. Kesar has major disfunctionality in his understanding of timeline... he hasn't really grown up from that age, but because technically he has, its like all his crazy adolescence wells up, and he starts claiming love! I suppose his deciding criteria (apart from the super hero coin 😆 ) went something along these lines : If I didn't love Gulaal, I could marry Talli - but can I? Its what he said at his mandap, that e can't pledge his loyalty to her. Kesar is a torn person between the child who still needs his eternal anchor, and a grown up who feels responsible for Gulaal - in a way that he sees only himself. All that sense of physical attraction - which as Reemz puts he doesn't know what to do with - coupled with his intense streak of protection and possessiveness for Gulaal has convinced him of his love. And actually, he's not far from the truth. He's only going to see it as fast, and as precisely, as 22 year old can - oh correct that to a very tormented 22year old, with no one to look up to for objective advice. Of course he's lost! But good news is, Gulaal is back - and with her current sarcasm queen avatar, Kesar is going to learn some lessons really really fast! Like you say Reemz - he's going to cling onto every wo0rd she says, because isn't that what he's always done?! Even when he's hated her for a decade blaming her of treachery, he couldn't help but look up to his virtual illuson of Gulaal in the form of those never mailed letters!

I however disagree with what you say about Gulaal seeing how he can do anything for her and whatnot realization. Dude - I think, she's quite convinced he can do anything for her. She needs to find conviction in the fact that his soul aim in life is not replace Vasant for her. She needs to let go of that trauma - which at least partially is a doing of her past - that first her real man was taken away, and now she will have to kill the essence of him she has lived with for a decade. I thought a a classic part of the confrontation was the bit where Gulaal mentions Vasant and Kesar's eyes turn to his picture - I was happy to know (as Gulaal conveniently missed noticing) that there was no guilt in his eyes as he looked to his brother. He was pained, and he may be guilty of forcing Gulaal to cme back, but because he's not guilty of what Gulaal accuses him fr at this point (oh sooo far from it in fact!) he doesn't have to shy his gaze. It's almost like he's looking up for some solution - like I said, Gulaal's set up that picture to judge 😆 In their own way, they each draw their strength from that picture.
Btw Reemz - excellent point raised with physical attraction he doesn't know what to do with! That is precisely it. He is attracted to her - and he is this close from loving her like a man, maturely... but I suppose he'd scandalize himself at this second, even imagining that's what his attraction thoughts were about. Food for thought from Gulaal will work wonders.

But did you guys notice how Gulaal broke down when Kesar launched back? Kya bol rahi hai tu? tera dimag t thik hai... soch bhi nahin sakta tu aisa soch sakti hai... and of course, the classic cheee! 😆 It's like Nur said - Gulaal's most convenient shield at this point is to conjure this evil image of Kesar inside her head! Because evil is going to far - even she can't put that down on Kesar - she rests it on lust! The woman is just wow ridiculous in her defense mechanism! And yes Nur, you make a point - it was easier shunning Dushyant - because he was evil! It doesn't apply to Kesar, so she's worked hard on make believe! When she tells him he doesn't understand love - I agree, He doesn't. He loves her, but he doesn't understand it for sure. But that's about his only folly with regard to her!

Btw - I'm going to lose all sense of objectivity and begin hating on Sudha big time, if the promo is any indication of how things will go 😡

I think Kesar will stay out - at least for a night. We'll probably get a sequence of JK taunting Gulaal about making the son of the house and her hubby suffer, LOL! classic JK! 😎

BTW, I'm with Reemz - can they live together? ☺️ Although, I'm with Nur too - can they?! 😳

Ok yeh scrap that about the 'he can do anything for her'. She knows that. True! I think thats another thing which makes Gulaal so defensive! She knows that Kesar will do anything and everything for her.

How do you resist?!☺️

She knows it man! She knows thats not what Kesar is asking for at all.

If Gulaal is hellbent on showing hey look Kesar i am here, isnt this what you wanted... your patni, your need, she will stay in that room, but deep deep down she knows and he knows nothing of that sort will even enter their minds at all even though what Gulaal has indicated that just today because todays scene was powerful in all the things Gulaal said and so on
The question is can they...
If she goes back to her room, all i see is her going to HER room, her safe haven, that belongs to her and Vasant, esp if they were/are getting across that Gulaal unknownly has closure of Vasant (esp as how they got across when she left the house and now she says her mann and atma is somewhat else) and his memories then they need to keep her in Kesar's room i think 😕 but then again this is such a big thing isnt it to happen... dont think everyone will be comfortable with it and so on
