Thank you for all the comments...I have to bow my head and eat my words.
Of course, I never was trying to level up the pain of each character with the others but what got me was the part where Kesar grabbed Talli aggressively, forcing her to listen to him and @Lennie I agree...he is what he says he is and that is weaker-in the sense that ten years was enough for him to hold himself back but now when he finally realises what he feels he has become vulnerable to the emotion. As a result, after he spoke to Talli you realise what he actually wanted was to find solace by speaking to his best friend...he is so lost at the minute that he relates to the one person who also "lost" their love.

I don't blame Kesar for Talli's plight at all...agreed again it is "of her own making" and simultaneously caused by "Sudha and Gulaal" but she could have been excused of being made a spectacle infront of her whole family and society etc. right? Although he never said he loved her unequivocally and it was a tough call for Kesar at the time but his reasons for agreeing we all know were for an ulterior motive. There was no "goodness" or "decency" in Kesar's agreement to the marriage and it did nothing but add fuel to the whole situation...which arguably again could have been avoided. He admits himself "I never thought about you once..."

I agree more or less with every comment, my post came from what I even stated at the time was a sudden realisation from Talli's POV. I also agree with @nureat01-it was a very random dialogue by Talli... there was so much more which could have been said...or even something more meaningful.

Thanks everyone (this post isn't meant to offend btw I can't stress enough the comments were most enjoyable to read simply because they really did enlighten me) :)

Oooh! P.s. I also totally confer with the comments that Talli should have realised he didn't want to mary her when she heard it from the horse's mouth (so to speak). That I definitely thought was pretty blind of her...but then again even Gulaal didn't question his decision eventhough she was adamant! On the creatives behalf and for the sake of a "fictious" storyline maybe they didn't want to go down that route...but for someone in love I'm assuming they're happier with the idea someone wants to be with them and are further convinced when they hear "I want to live for my future...which is Talli" or similar words he spoke to PaanBaa in the kitchen that day. (I love how PaanBaa is the only one who asked his reasoning...)
