A Riddle

[Talli's burnt house: - On a rainy day]

It was raining since last night. As she touched the window panes, the freezing sensation invoked her unfrozen thoughts.

Baarish...

Kabhi kabhi lagtha hein ki yeh humare saath apni khushuyan maanane chali aathi hein;

Lekin kabhi kabhi apne aansu bankar, beh bhi jaathi hein..

Yeh baarish bhi, bahut ajeeb hothi hein...aise achanak kahin baadlon se lipat jaathi hein aur phir, yuhi sagar main chip jaathi hein.

She laughed at her silliness for a moment, but suddenly some thought barged in her, vanished her smile, while her eyes grew cold.

'..Shaayad yein bundhein humse kuch kehna chahthe hein,,,,shaayad uss din bhi...

Her mind travelled back to the day when the biggest fact of her life struck her like a lightening.

Voice Over

Kesar: Haan Gulaal, yeh pyaar hein..Mein tujse pyaar kartha hun Gulaal.. Meri zindgi main teri alaawa aur koi nahin ho saktha.

His tone varied from mischievousness to a slightly challenging and to that of a caring and concerned tone towards the end.

The raising sound of his bike engine woke her up from her trance and was surprised to find that the whole ambience has changed; the dark clouds are now white as snow. The sun has spread its radiant beams all over.

With each passing second, his bike kept on calling her with much more intensity, which brought out a dimple on her cheeks; as always.
