Jamna Kaki goes to Dushyant and asks what he has gotten for working so hard for the house, nobody has appreciated him or praised him despite his being all alone. She says that nobody praises him but everyone points out a single mistake he makes. Dushyant tells her she is over-thinking, she says that nobody will even remember that it is Dushyant's birthday the next day. Dushyant says that he also did not remember. She says that Dushyant has rejected so many offers of marriage, if he had married she would have had a grandchild, it is not too late for Dushyant to marry. She says that if tomorrow she is not around who will think of him, it is best he gets married else he will be all alone one day. He asks her to stop worrying about him, he is fine as he is and leaves.
Mota Bha and Gulaal are on the terrace and he appreciates her bringing him out since it has been ages since he was in fresh air. Kesar arrives on his bike with Talli. Talli gets off and smiles in a shy manner, he asks what happened and she doesn't respond and runs away. Mota Bha sees their interaction from above and flashbacks to his telling Gulaal what will happen when Radha and Krishna grow up when he finds out about Gulaal's marrying Kesar. He then tells Gulaal that Radha and Krishna have grown up now. Gulaal has a strange expression on her face, like she is shocked or something. They go inside.
Mota Bha and Gulaal come downstairs and see Kesar. Kesar is happy seeing Mota Bha outside his room. Mota Bha says that he had to come out given how out of hand things are getting. He asks Kesar where he was so late and what he was doing. Gulaal says that he had gone to meet his friends since he has returned after so long, and asks Kesar to freshen up and she will get him dinner. Mota Bha asks him not to go anywhere till he has met Mota Bha the next morning.
Talli is in her room with the flower garland around her neck with flashbacks to her times with Kesar and Gulaal's promising to marry them. Sudha comes there and Talli hugs her happily. Talli asks her what is the most important gesture of marriage. Sudha is not able to guess correctly, Talli says garland. Sudha laughs and says that Talli is in such a hurry to get married.
Kesar is in his room going through his bag of clothes and comes across the letters he wrote to Gulaal but never posted. He reads one letter where he writes that he the reason he refused to meet Gulaal all these years is that he wanted to put her through a lot of pain due to his anger and questions whose answers only she has. He wants to know what is the reason that Gulaal was quiet despite knowing that Dushyant killed Vasant, why didn't she do anything or tell anyone. Talli comes and snatches the letter teasing him. He asks her to return it. She starts reading and he snatches it and yells at her saying that he told her not to touch his things. He holds her tightly and she has a bruise. He calms down and apologizes. She had a box in her hand and he asks what is in it. She says that she got sweets for him to take to the factory. He asks her to feed them to him. She feels happy and does so. (I feel so bad for Talli, unnecessarily she is being lead on, and Kesar doesn't even know that he is leading her on unknowingly). He asks her if she made them, instead of adding sugar did she add salt since it is not as sweet. She feels upset and he starts laughing saying that it is very tasty. She runs after him to hit him when Gulaal comes there and Kesar looks at her. Gulaal tells him that Mota Bha is waiting for him (she looks jealous I think).
Mota Bha asks Kesar whether he has thought what he wants to do in future. Kesar says no. Mota Bha says that time doesn't wait for anyone, and if he waits he will feel that he has not done anything in his life, and that Kesar should think of this himself instead of Mota Bha's telling him. Kesar says that he has to find answers to lots of questions. Mota Bha says that the sooner Kesar finds answers the better, the house's reputation and future are dependent on Kesar, so whatever he does he should think a lot. Everyone has a lot of expectations from Kesar and he has lots of responsibilities for the house, and he should be worthy of taking the responsibility. Gulaal comes there and says that everyone is waiting for them downstairs. Mota Bha tells Kesar that he hopes that Kesar will think of this conversation and fulfill Mota Bha's hopes.
Dushyant takes Jamna Kaki's blessings and she wishes him happy birthday. Dushyant says that this is a strange way of making him remember his age. Mota Bha says that no matter how old the son is, he is a kid for his parents. Mota Bha gives him money, Dushyant says that what is the need for all this, he just needs their blessings. Kesar gives angry looks. Jamna Kaki sees Kesar standing apart and asks Gulaal what Kesar bought for Dushyant and why is he standing apart. Kesar looks angrily. She asks Gulaal to bring Kesar. Dushyant says that Kesar is his younger brother, he doesn't need to gift him anything, Dushyant should gift him since he is older. Dushyant asks Kesar whether he remembers how as a kid he used to take away all Dushyant presents. Gulaal says that now Kesar is grown up and should give a gift. Talli agrees. Kesar says fine, he owes Dushyant one. Dushyant says that he doesn't need to do anything, he is grateful that everyone remembered his birthday and made it special. Mota Bha says that he should be grateful to Gulaal, the rest did not even know that it was Dushyant's birthday, Gulaal asked everyone to come and give Dushyant blessings. Kesar gets angry hearing about this and flashbacks to Durgesh's asking Gulaal what her relationship is with Dushyant that despite knowing he killed Vasant she is still standing beside him and protecting him.
