Gulaal and Dushyant leave in the jeep. Kamlesh asks Durgesh why he let them go. Durgesh says that he wants that the earth should fall below Gulaal in a way that she will not even realize it. He says that he will spend as much money as required, but he wants every farmer in Talsagra's hundi (whatever that means, probably something to do with water). Kesar flashbacks to his moments with Vasant and thinks back to the conversation about Dushyant's killing Vasant and Gulaal's knowing about it.
Gulaal says that Kesar has not returned home and asks Dushyant to look for him. Mota Bha refuses and says that Kesar needs to stop being childish. Sudha is crying and Gulaal consoles her. Sudha says that there is nothing for her here and she has decided to leave the house. Kesar arrives the next morning and Gulaal says that she apologizes but Kesar should not do this again. She gives Kesar bread (parathas) and when she returns with water, Talli comes there and tells her that she wants parathas as well. Gulaal asks her how she knows that they made paratha. Talli says that she saw the dog outside eating; Gulaal realizes that Kesar must have given it to the dog. She runs after him and asks what the problem is.
Kesar is in school and is scolded because he has not done his homework. Kesar answers the teacher back and breaks his spectacles. The teacher visits Kesar's home and talks to Mota Bha about his mis-behavior. Mota Bha asks Kesar to apologize but he refuses. Gulaal asks Kesar why he is behaving in this manner. Dushyant is there and pulls Kesar's ears. Kesar pushes him away. Everyone is shocked by his behavior.
