Guddan wants him to put it on when he really means it but she also wants him to do it after giving it some thought. Just like he ripped it off in anger and on an impulse, she doesn't want him to put it back on in anger and on an impulse either. Otherwise, it loses its meaning.

Yes, marriage is about emotions but it is also about responsibilities and respect. By depriving Guddan of her "wifely rights" in public he also stripped her of the dignity of being his wife. That is taken by some other nasty people as a sign that she is "available"- for men as a target to prey on and for women like Durga as a target to insult and ridicule. AJ unknowingly exposed her to this danger and abuse. After what Rocky does, he realizes his mistake, but only part of it.

Putting the MS back on just to protect her from evil people is not enough. It needs to be accompanied by the dignity and respect she deserves as a wife and a sense of his responsibility towards her as a husband in the true sense. Until Guddan is sure all of these are willingly and deliberately offered by AJ, she won't accept half measures. I think she is really really angry with him this time. Usually she's quick to forgive but I hope she doesn't let him get off so easily this time.

Will she still stand by her brother? AJ will make her slap Rocky and outwardly admonish him but deep down she will take revenge on Guddan because she will realize that Guddan is far more precious to AJ than she had expected and that even though Guddan uses weird tactics she often does a lot of good for the family in unexpected ways.
