I actually think it goes deeper than that. Subconsciously he is aware of the attraction between them, and this incident gave him the perfect excuse to distance himself (even though it's not quite working out!)

But he is extra sensitive when it comes to her as we could see during the jail & court track when only thing on his mind was she. Somewhere like you said, he got subconsciously aware of that.

So when he got this piece of information regarding Rawat, & this that there is a chance (no matter how small it is) that ,Guddu was scanning for proofs against him while he was sharing his pain with her, his guards automatically came up. He refused to take any explanation for that.

Right now he fears that, if he listens to her, he will start trusting her again & he wants to avoid that.

This is what he does with Guddan, to me it's called injustice.
He made her guilty and did not find out the whole story.

You see we can always find an excuse for AJ behavior but that's not fair.

AJ hide too many things from her, but she was not angry and insulted him in front of the whole family. She did not took from him right that he is her husband.

When she learned true of Parv she just confronted him with the truth.
She did not go in front of the whole family said, as he was the one who lied. She respects him, AJ do not respect Guddan. He do not respect Guddan as his wife.

Frankly, when it suits him to accept Guddan for his wife and when he does,

He is very good man, but when it comes to Guddan he does not think with the brain, he think with his heart.
