Its been since i've written this, i had a hard time finding a perfect title for this fic, but tried fitting somethin😆

*****Part: 1*****
"No, no, no this is not happening" she shut her close
"Its all a dream, its all a dream" she sang trying to relax herself face palming
"Maybe, he didnt see me, or maybe he dont remember me , yes he doesnt remember me " she breathed sigh
Someone tapped her shoulder
She moved only her fingers and peeked around only to come face to face with the only person she was not prepared to meet
"Guddan" his voice came slow,like he was skeptical
It was now or never she have to face her fears, she was determined not to be a quitter not now.
She turned to face him and nodded yes, unsure of her voice
"Guddan" this time he sounded happy and sighed
He was asusual dressed in grey three piece suit, not a hair out of place, his day old stubble slightly giving a glimpse of few white facial hair, he looks tired.
She on the other hand was dressed in a well washed jeans and an off white tee, her hair tied in ponytail, and thanks to the wind her hair was sticking out in places.
She wasnt able to say anything, her heart thudded like she ran a marathon
She brought her hand forward to shake and took back instantly and wiped it on her jeans
"J-j-Jindal saab" she was able to say finally
And he hugged her, she was shocked at his action her hands stopped mid way
"How are you? "He asked
She nodded again unable to voice out
She wanted to run away, back in her sanctuary, where everything was stable and calm.this wasnt her zone not atleast when she had left her old self behind.
"Im fine .. actually good" she had big grin
"M sorry guddan .. i .."she cut him off, she was not ready for any of his excuse
"Aap yahan ? Goa main ?" She asked diverting the topic
"Business and you ?" He asked
"Work " she replied vaguely
"Guddan we need to..tal" again he was interrupted
"Jindal saab i really need to be somewhere right now, ofcourse we need to talk, i happen to be here for atleast a week " she handed him a card
"My contact details, nd m really sorry for leaving this mid way, bye" she walked away
"Guddan" he called
She stopped in her tracks
"Please dont say something m not ready for" she prayed
"What do u do ?" She breathed finally which she has been holding
"Ofcourse, bartending" she replied without turning and walked away.and heard him laughing
She was pacing in her room
"Relax guddan relax, dont panic, dont panic" tears rolled out , she wiped them harshly
"My pills" she cried searching her luggage
"Guddan" came a voice
She wiped her tears
"U okay" asked the guy
She nods yes
"Comes sit i need to tell u something"
"No, u dont look okay " he said ignoring her
"I m fine, u need to hear me out"she pleaded
The guy stood crossing his arms
"M hearing, nd yes we are not going back "
"He is here"she said her voice almost choking
It was creeping silence in the room
She looked up to see his reaction, she was sure he wouldnt take it nicely
"R-rahul?"
He closed his eyes and sighed
"Thats what i feared, its him again thats causing u trouble"," he gritted through his teeth
"No! We just met...he looks tired.." she was cut off
"Not again guddan u always defend him, when you are the one he has hurt the most with his ignorance"
"He have his reason .."
"No reason is good enough for walking out"
"He needed time.."
"And it took him three long years "he hit the vase on the table and walked out of room
"Rahhul" she burst into tears
"He was, he is and always be an inevitable part me" she said to herself
Next morning
She sat at the cafe, stirring her coffee lost in thoughts
Someone clicked their fingers startling her
"Seems like i always startle you"
"No..noo.. i was just zoned out"she replied tucking her hair behind ear
He gave her flowers , lillies .
"Guddan...how are you? How is everyone?"asked akshat
"Everyones good.. they miss you "she replied
They were quiet for a moment, akshat broke the silence
"So ,hows bartending?"
She was confused for a second then remembered her parting answer in their last meet
"Gud ,actually my best career decision so far " she played along
Akshat looked baffled
And they burst out laughing
"U should have seen your face"she said wiping her tears
"U were damn convincing, u should trying acting"
"Gee, thanks .. i try "
"What do u actually do ?"he asked
"Theatre, finally decided following my dreams"she replied proudly
"Its good to know" he was happy for her
"Rahul is back"
"I hope he is happy "
"He is ...he misses you"
"He never liked me guddan" he smiled
"They love you jindal saab, and you should come home"
"Is that my wife speaking ?"
His words caused havoc in her
"Wo-wo.."
"Relax guddan.. i was .."
She closed deep breathed
"Jindal saab i want a divorce"she said without beating around the bush
His grip tightened on the glass he was holding,
He was taken by surprise with her firmness . Sure he knew after walking out on her and showing up out of nowhere he didnot expect the rose showers and rainbow, but he definately didnot expect her asking divorce
"Divorce?" He questioned, trying to hide the anger and hurt
"I know, its sudden, but its better to break something which keeps u tied down" her wrds pierced his heart
"Is this marriage keeping u to tied down ?" He asked dejected
"Its keeping us both tied down, its only on paper why not break this sham"she retorted, trying to keep her anxiety at bay
"Do you really want it ?" He asked
"Jindal saab we both need it "she replied, feeling the coming headache and this conversation was going nowhere
Her phone rang
"Hello,..yess...no...m fine...yeah...will talk to u later..bye" she said looking at akshat
"M sorry ,i've to be somewhere right now, could you please see the paper work and contact me ..?"she asked
He nodded yes, she took a moment to glance him over her shoulders ,an ill disguised yearning in her gaze . straightening her posture she walked away searching something in her bag and her phone balanced on her shoulder, she looked messed.
