As the machine startedbeeping violently, the man woke up from his slumber and turned towards thesleeping figure, with a ray of hope alit in his tired eyes.

And as the figure'snaked eyes fluttered open, he scrambled from his position on the floor andclasping her slender fingers in his, caressed her hairs affectionately.

The woman rolled hereyes around cautiously and as her browns met his black, a relieved smile brokeacross his lips as he parted them to call out her name.

"Guddan!

Guddan continued tostare at Akshat quizzically and as she rolled her eyeballs to see her handsclasped in his, a look of loathing dawned in her eyes and she snatched her handaway, "How dare you?!
