Divay Dhamija to play a negative character in Guddan

Last seen on the TV show 'Agniphera', actor Divay Dhamija is all set to join the cast of 'Guddan - Tumse Na Ho Payega'. He will be introduced on the show as the antagonist --- a rich businessman called Mr. Dutta. He will be seen as Akshat's (Nishant Malkani) best friend and will try every trick in the book to bring him down. Divay told us, "I liked the role and the graph of my character on the show when I was offered the script. I knew it would be fun to play this character and that is why I agreed to take it up. I have already begun shooting and I hope that I am liked by the audience."

When asked if there are any similarities between his last outing as the antagonist and his character in the new project, he replied, "I cannot speak a lot about my character in 'Guddan...' at the moment. But yes, this role is different from what I played in 'Agniphera'. On the previous show, I played someone who could kill for love, but in 'Guddan...', I will be seen playing a businessman who is fighting against the hero."

Talking about his affinity for negative characters, he said, "I feel negative characters offer a lot of variations and that's something I really like as an actor. Having said that, if I am offered a positive role backed with a good script, I would love to play it."
