I am not sure about the end game or actually in which direction Satya's character will be taken ahead. Given that it's just been an episode and a couple of scenes, nothing can be determined regarding long run however there are a few things that stood out about Dr.Satya Adikari since yesterday's episode.

1. When Sai brushes away his diagnosis on the road, he steps back and does not argue. He might have been confident about his conclusion just like Sai was about hers however instead of trying to prove himself right he stepped back to let what needs to be done. There was no eyeroll or any gesture of condescension.

2. In the OT his entry with the music and speakers might have been over the top (subjective) but when Sai mentions that she cannot perform with music on he brings out his ear pods. This was a perfect way of handling a conflict without imposing his wish nor expecting Sai to concede hers.

The reason this stands out is Sai's experience from her marriage is one where she has been continuously called out for her approach, tagged as immature, expected to adjust and accommodate demands no matter how unfair or one sided they were. If she is going to fall in love again or meet her match (hopefully) it needs to be with someone who is an active contributor to situations and problems and not someone who will place the burden of expectations and turn a mute spectator or worse turn an active participant by siding against her in times of dire need.

Yes I understand that Satya's role is still a revelation in the process and there isn't enough material to conclude anything yet, but if the above scenes are anything to go by and that's the vein in which the writing continues then Sai and Satya as Saiya would definitely make an amazing otp! one that is rootable and a match of equals.
Besides, I also find it interesting that they have chosen to start Sai-Satya equation with Tashan and Nok-Jhok as that's a classic romantic story trope because if Satya's only purpose is to create jealousy and insecurity in Virat then that doesn't require all of this establishment just any nice colleague that Sai hangs out with regularly would be enough. Neither would the casting require a well known face maybe Harshad Arora isn't as famous as some of his contemporaries at the moment but he has some good and popular shows behind him not to mention that Dheeraj Dhooper who was supposedly considered for this role was a popular face and had successful shows to his claim.

This definitely show that though nothing is set in stone, whatever progress awaits in Sai's life from now onwards has definitely been decided with careful consideration and deliberation.

Lovely post. Sai needs a person who is solid in her corner. One who respects her. One who will br able to cross the walls she built around her heart. Might be a difficult task. We have to see if Dr. Satya is up for the challenge.

Another scene.

When satya dashed with virat. He immediately said sorry. Instead of accepting his apology, virat arrogantly said dek ke nahi chal sakthi.

Both sai and virat lack manners.

Omg this our society or ITV has normalized the disrespect Virat showed to Sai when she was his wife now the same disrespect he is showing to pakhi his current wife

I'm soooo glad you put this all in words

Virat is an insecure immature guy who lacks self awareness

Watch him act childish and narcissist insecure little wanker in upcoming episodes 🤣

Satya will shown what's its like to actually be a man that secure in himself

He is sooo funny and soo good in these 2 episodes

Agreed! As much as I love Sai I cannot overlook the fact that her behaviour towards Sathya is clouded with pre-conceived notions. However, Sai is just and fair, capable of admitting her mistakes and apologizing this which Virat isn't. Right now, both of them are forming opinions on Satya based on his clothes, walk and Gait and overlooking the substance in him, his actual traits that matter.

Sai we know will retrospect and change, Virat on the other hand his history fails him.

Absolutely true!

I hope the ratings work in Sai and Satya's favour or even the general audience. The reasons you have listed and more is why it must!

Besides Chavans as a whole are either disgusting (Kaku, Ashwini etc.) or useless (Mohit, Karishma).

Just look at BK's reason for rooting for Sai!

Virat wants her, Virat will be happy and his family will be complete? Ready to toss Pakhi who had otherwise been in her favour and for all her crimes had actually stood by them even if it is for her own selfish reasons.

On the other hand Ashwini resents Sai for leaving her son and sides with Pakhi just for being wife on paper again her reason is because of Virat's secure family life for which she can look at a young woman she had once claimed to love like a daughter in the eye and call her the other woman!

Be it Sai or Patralekha can only be Ashwini Chavan's daughter if they are married to Virat Chavan and write over their life away to him!

No wonder this man is so entitled as he is never held accountable for his actions because everyone around him is bending over backwards to enable him. He watches his ex on the sly while still being married to another woman, creepily decorates a room for her (It would have been paternal had it been only for Savi, but as it stands currently Sai doesn't even see him as a friend nor has he offered her friendship), continues to invade her personal space by either being drunk or refusing to draw boundaries and taking lunch for her. This isn't love, this is a man taking undue liberties on a person that is vulnerable and making difficult decisions for her son.

It beats me that people still root for Sairat???!! (I'll never understand this)

Satya or not, single Sai > Sairat

Omg the way you put your point is soo good

This I just can't put past how all the people are gushing over virat decorating Sai's room

No respect for privacy or boundaries

And the way virat is going about with Sai is soo wrong

He is literally married to another women while he is flirting with his ex wife in the dust of using Sai's love for her kids

Classic case of emotional manipulation

I really hope Sai see right through him

We don’t know where this current track is going.

Bare minimum that Satya’s character should achieve is to show Virat the mirror, which he very badly needs.

This man has now degraded to such a level that he has lost the capacity to differentiate right from wrong. He has no clue about the humiliation and pain Sai is going through or about the long term issues he is inflicting upon his children.

When will Virat find his lost spine?

At this point, I don’t want Sai to ever accept him back in her life.
