See school admissions is a relevant drama .. but they skirted over important issues like birth certificate father name .. now Savi will go to new school .. has she written virat’s name as the other parent ..why didn’t virat make a sad face when Savi said her name is Savi Sai Joshi .

today the bias over expensive school was superficial.. Sai wanted her daughter to go studious wale schools were children crack IIt , IPs exams .. but those schools are not meant for average intelligent wale bacchae.. they get stifled there ..

Anyways seems like Vinayak will be out there and he may crib about the surroundings irritating patralekha..

If Vinayak is truly adopted .. matlab no connection to sai . Let her bring her child as she wants na .. uske bhi Arman honge . And if the child does not carry Sai ka dna . Tab toh woh cope bhi nahi kar payega yeh sab stress level of contnous Olympiad exams and scoring there

Very good review and point of view as a parent.

I was a teacher for a few years in both types of schools. Earlier was in IT field.

From my personal experience, in the international school my time as a teacher went in pleasing parents, talking extremely politely, unable to mention the child's mistakes directly.

There was skating, swimming etc squeezed in the academic schedule.

Teachers were busy making sure the skates don't get mixed with other kids, swimwear is not mixed. Parents were keen to see their child's photograph in every event else they would raise questions.

If some small incident happens calling parents and informing. We were so tensed about all these things. Maybe we were understaffed. Parents paid high fees so they expected too much.

Teachers had to do too much work for making the corridors beautiful and events were too grand , so we were overworked.

But in the other school i had worked, parents were more understanding and didn't expect too much as fees was less. Teaching facilities were the same I felt but i could focus more on academics. Here also we focussed on display boards and events but they were not so grand but apt for the practical purposes.

Skating and others were optional so parents could opt for it after school and there were separate tutors.

I may be wrong but that's what I felt.

In big schools teachers have to please parents a lot as fees s more.

There may be more schools where teacher student ratio s less. But where I had worked strength was the same and we had more pressure from teachers point of view.

I found the teaching methods same and facilities also were at par. Ambience may have been lesser but the lab facilities etc were at par .

This is from my experience purely as a teacher.

In this new 'expensive' school, I have seen entitled parents coming and demanding special attention to their child and favours.

My personal experience was on pedagogy. My child is a quick learner and more audio sensory... she gets bored on writing too much. And the previous school was hell bent on doing that. 5 pages a day in kindergarten

Moreover there was a proper bias against few children. Won't get into much detail.

This new school too has such parents but it's more subtle and polished so to say... also this school has certain rules about the kind of stuff kids can bring to school (even birthday chocolates cannot go beyond 2 rs each).

And the teaching techniques and overall exposure is very good.

My entire perception is about this... its not necessary that expensive schools do not focus on the child's development. My personal experience is other way around.

Anyway the whole point for the episode was Sai was okay with the choice of school, she didn't have fees to pay... to phir baad main child support pe kyun agree Kiya? The entire thing then looked like a ego related tussle right?

V has no aukat to "win Sai back" after everything he has done. the most he can do is try to be a decent dad to both the kids equally and take a call on what he wants to do as far as P goes- continue a farce relationship where they use each other for selfish gains because of Vinu and societal pressure, end things with P because he doesnt want to lead her along and live a lie himself, or give her a chance genuinely and live with her as a husband

I hope Sai will not make excuses for Vs behavior in future just because he starts acting like a decent dad.

I hope that her issues with V remain and do not melt because he starts being a decent-ish dad.

They can co-parent now - sure. But the facts remain that V betrayed her when she needed her husband to stand by her. he married P. he adopted a child with P and is co-paenting a child with P. He has proclaimed to the world even in front of Sai that P is his wife. She has seen him hug P, celebrate a marriage anniversary, introduce P as his wife to all his collegaues, dance intimately with her on their wedding anniversary, cut the anniversary cake with P, buy her expensive jewelry and pehnao it himself, wanted Savi to call P as her badi aai because she is his wife and he is Savis baba. wife of baba is aai. And by that virtue V tried to make P also part of the family with Savi disregarding Sai's feeling about it. She has seen that they share a bedroom even if she didnt see the "separate beds" but that is immaterial because sai has also slept on the floor while being V's legally wedded wife. She has seen that P has been accepted by the whole CN as the bahu by virtue of being V's wife.

Sai left for a reason and it was valid. It wasnt a hasty decision. And she chose not to return for a reason.

If V genuinely loved only Sai -he would not be married to P and have a child with P and be proudly proclaiming P as his wife to all.

I am not thrilled with how Sai is cool with acknowledging that Savi wants to be a police officer like her baba. Because her IPS baba is the person who misused his power to throw someone in jail on false charges just coz he was "angry" . She shouldnt turn out like her baba. She can emulate her nana instead to be morally upright.

I also wish Sai stops acknowledging V as being a good police officer after how he failed at locating the people who attacked her during illegal surrogacy., didnt care to follow protocol or use his position to actually search for her before assuming her dead and making his conclusions based on a piece of torn kapda and then now misused his power to throw her in jail and threaten her with legal action for no fault of hers.

Even his successful "missions" have not really been a success. HE has needed help, rescuing or screwed up.

1. In GC, Kamal Sir got shot and JM eventually fled from prison

2. In his mission post devkit kaand, he got shot.

3. When he was accused of marring Sai forcefully, he needed Sai's help to prove him innocent and even that he didnt think of asking. Sai figured it out and helped.

4. In his task to help the eve-teaser in sai's college, he let the guy off with advice instead of pressing charges

5. In Shruti kaand, he essentially shielded a Naxalite and placed his promise to a Naxalite friend over his duty and his marriage/love

6. He couldnt use his position to help locate Sam when he was missing.

7. When Sada returned, Sai got kidnapped and in the process of rescuing sai he got grievously injured and Sai had to save him

8. When he got himself suspended, again Sai saved his ass by backdating divorce agreement and eventually giving a press conference by influencing DIG

9. When Sai got stuck in a false case, he couldnt bail Sai out promptly. HE made her stay a full night in prison, and then got himself arrested and made Sai save his ass

10. When that bank robbery drama happened, again sai and even BK helped him in that mission and thats why it was successful.

11. when amey kaand happened , Sai ensured that amey would get arrested by collecting evidence

12, When he committed to taking a transfer he eventually canceled it and didnt go anywhere

13. when it came to tracing the missing kids, again Sai had to help him with the actual rescue and even P helped by actually locating the fleeing kidnappers in the van.

14. he allowed his family to go scot free despite their criminal deeds of forcibly separating a couple, a child being snatched away and given to orphanage and making a woman mentally unstable, falsifying evidence against pullu

15. he allowed P to get away with illegal surrogacy and eventually even bailed her out when it was proven that she wasnt bechaari but had deliberatly plotted things to harm sai and snatch her child

Think of any assignment or case IPS V has had- and he has failed, needed others help or screwed up. He has been biased. He has been unfair.

HE cant do his job also properly. But he gets hailed as mahaan officer, has a promotion and is shown as someone who is being given undue respect, regard by DIG and his colleagues.

Really the person who accurately assessed him was the IAS guy who disappeared abruptly- the character of actor Ribhu who called him out for being nalla.

I agree... which is why I didn't find it sensible enough.

V ka name nahi hona I am fine. Rather happy because he deserves this. Even I expected a reaction from him. 😔

My guess is this child support will be made an issue... BK Sonali P might object... will blame Sai etc. V will stay adamant and irk P... that might also be the reason P offers money in precap.

And secondly V will change Vinu ka school... so that will affect P again... and BK ka issue remains.

So this admission drama according is for these two reasons. 🙄

School admissions regardless of what they talk is a nice topic to gloss over in a soap .. not liking for any gyan .. they as it is made a hash over infertility and surrogacy ..

last time yeh rishta during akshara naitik phase had these type of issues and strikes a chord with audience

Great review moor!! It is indeed a great episode though incredible that sai doesn't have money. Doctors earn so much that they attract only envy from other professions 🫣. Here they keep showing that sai is struggling. Sometimes I wish that they show sai finished her MD somewhere so she used all her money!! Atleast that will give good feeling. If virat has spent for her education apart from her scholarship, she should be still having KJs retirement money right? This is atrocious that they don’t show that she finished her Md and then penniless. Disgusting 🤢

As far as I am concerned as a parent I would not let my child chose the school till she is may be a teenager. I will try to convince her even then 🤭. There are studies that show kids don’t form strong bonds/opinions like friendships till middle school. And as parents it is our perogative to observe what our child likes and wants, and chose the school accordingly. That’s why sais decision is good. Savi admires virat and being in the same school as him might motivate her more. Sai made wonderful observation there. Regarding vinu, virat might factor in sais decision of how education should help in child’s all round development and chose the same school for vinu. Even if it is tough initially he might like it later.

This is my opinion . Could be wrong for others: because parenting is personal experience. Thought of putting out my experience.
