True that Pakhi's manipulative & calculative skills were very well shown on that episode, it came out in a way that she was aware what she was doing although she was drunk.

You know what I always feel that the reason BK hates & fear with Sai is her arrival actually scraches the cracks Chavan niwas has, she removes everyone's mask. Sai's first entry at CN and Pakhi's mask somewhere out in front of Virat and he himself was forced to face his inner demons. The facade Virat & Pakhi were living is now on different tangent.

Now although unintentional Vinnu's adoption truth too revealed through Sai, aur itna hi nahi team Sai too are slowly getting their voices & emotions back.

The TAUNT was that

He realised, what she meant.

Sai always used to say, during deal marriage, that you love pakhi and you both should be together.

So, he understood what sai meant.

That she's in a way, taunting him that Sai's words came true.

They both are now FINALLY together.

The DANCE thing he didn't completely understand. It just he FELT like, he MIGHT have been caught.

And, the anniversary wish confused him, ki is she really happy? Or not.

Because, sai's speech was confusing for him. Some taunts were there. And, she was genuinely trying to WISH them.

Also, that monologue describes the, assurance he's trying to seek from sai.

Pakhi and her delusions,they'll not come to an end any soon. Agreed, confession was for SaiRat, specifically for Sai to understand the intensity of their relation. Which in real is nothing,but a lot in eyes of Sai.

It's irking Virat,that why did she congratulated them, and didn't feel jealous. Frankly saying, I didn't like thier dance,not at all. Camera angles made it worse for me,focus should've been on SaiRat. Again saying, Neil should work on his expressions while talking to Pakhi. My opinion and what I've written here might differ,but I absolutely agree with each word u have written.

See, it's a way of trying to keep the person under control and influence their decision.

Example - You lended some money to your friend and now you want the money back.

But, before you can ask for it, the friend appreciates you and says emotional things, like thank you, the money is helping me a lot, i would've lost so many things without your help.

So, in a way you'll be guilty and emotional and you won't ask back for the MONEY.

That's what pakhi did to sai here.

Pakhi hands over the mic to sai.

Pakhi knows sai. She knows that sai will only wish pakhi and virat a happy married life. So, she handed over the mic to sai for a speech.

It was meant For virat.

The anniversary was for CONFESSION.

The confession was for virat and sai.

She brought Sai back and made her witness the whole confession.

It was meant for sai, she'll distance herself but what about virat?

So, the SPEECH was for virat.

But, sai doesn't create a scene.

Simply shows that she isn't much bothered about the chawans anymore.

Ashwini - Jab sai bolne pe utar aati hai na, sabki zubaan band ho jati hai.

Ashwini still knows sai. It's not just in a negative way, but also positive.

She knows but the anger has overpowered her.

Sai - Aap dono ka pyaar, aapke dance mein saaf nazar aa raha tha.

Mr. Chawan aap bahot khush lag Rahe the.

Virat's reaction...

He realised ONE thing, i.e., sai has noticed his expressions during the dance.

See, when you're doing something deliberately when that person, says something that in a way, is similar your ACT or hints that they've CATCHED your ACT, then you'll think that the person has understood and realised, what were you doing.

Even if the person hasn't.

See for virat, he was doing that dance deliberately, to make sai jealous.

And, sai mentioned DANCE, so he'll think that sai has caught him and has understood what he was trying to do.

He knows sai is smart.

But, he failed to understand that it HAS HURT SAI.

Sai - Your wedding anniversary cake was tasty.

It was a TAUNT, because sai think virat sent that cake on purpose.

But, virat didn't understand that, as if he did not send that cake.

True. Bk manipulates and influences everyone by emotional blackmailing.

She does it for her own benefit and reputation.

She makes people do things, that they don't want to do.

She emotionally manipulates virat, on the name of family and reputation and manipulates pakhi, to keep sai away.

And, other people too.

VIRAT AND PAKHI, ROOM CONVO...

Virat - Main tumhare liye nimbu pani, lekar aata hu, NASHA utar jayega.

Let's take the, nimbu drink as the drink of REALITY.

If pakhi drinks it, her delusional world will come to an END.

That's why she asks,

Tum kyun chahte ho, ki Mera nasha utar jaye.

Pakhi - Tum mere saath isliye dance kar rahe the na, kyunki tum Sai ko dikhana chahte the, ki tum aage badh gaye ho?

This sentence reveals a lot of things about virat's behaviour.

Pakhi - You must not have liked that she wished us a happy wedding anniversary.

Felt like, pakhi is speaking on the behalf of virat.

These statements hit virat and they were an attack on his EMOTIONS too.

As if someone has pulled the mask and made him face the REALITY.

Virat had tears in his eyes, as if was a direct Emotional attack.

Pakhi always said this. Even when, SaiRat were together.

She always thought that, sai came between her and virat and kept asking virat to LET GO OF SAI.

She knew earlier that, it was VIRAT, who wasn't letting Sai go.

Because, sai was READY TO LEAVE.

And, now again, SAI HAS LET GO, BUT VIRAT ISN'T LETTING HER GO.

Pakhi - Do you love sai?

And, what if it happens in the future?

Virat tries to escape and doesn't answer but pakhi stays adamant.

Pakhi - Agar mujhe ya sai mein se kisi ek ko choose karna padhe, toh kise choose karoge?

This day will come.

Not necessarily after kid's revelation but it'll have to come.

We'll have to wait and see, who he chooses.

And, it's to keep the suspense alive about virat's DECISIONS.

And, also that this track is about VIRAT'S DECISIONS.

Really liked the inebriated and delusional take you did. I had similar views on P's whole drunken act during and after the function.

I did express this doubt about P during their first convo after the leap. P was gauging Sai. She was apologising, showing her regret and repentance. But it was all a show. Just like you said, to gain her sympathy and be in her good books. So that she treats her more friendly and does not ask for what P has stolen from her.

Sai believes in P's love for V. She didnt buy P's sad story at Kankavli and said P got what she always wanted looking at the 'wedding' picture in the room. Sai reads her like an open book when it comes to V. Her trying to get to Sai to dance to V's djembe, stopping her from leaving..everything was her show. Sai knew what she was doing. P lost her 'subtleness' in her intoxication.

V's 'love' for P is like a bitter pill to swallow for Sai. Before, in their deal phase, Sai always thought V loves P and distanced herself from him. She sometimes misunderstood him too when it comes to P. But now its different. V gave the right of a wife to P. She has also seen few 'domestic' scenes between V and P, that was not meant as a show. Sai saw what V wanted to show through the dance. She said the love between Mr and Mrs Chavan was visible in the dance, ESPECIALLY Mr Chavan. Her speech was mixed with taunt to V. He is innocent only from the cake and probably djembe accusation. I might be wrong, but it seemed like V wanted Sai to dance, just like she did during confession. Now Sai thinks V went back to his first love. Things might change when she finds out V married P for adoption. Maybe not. V has dug a big hole with his showoff drama.
