Intoxication is something that gives us a BREAK from the reality.
Something that makes the reality much more bearable, if not beautiful.
Something that gives us the COURAGE, that we lack in reality and the courage to take the actions that we wouldn't in a SOBER STATE.
VIRAT & PAKHI'S ROOM.

Nasha doesn't mean just the alcohol that she had.
Nasha meant pakhi's FANTASY world. The delusional world, that she's living in.
If she gets over the nasha, she gets over her delusional world and comes back to the reality. And, reality doesn't support her delusional world and the situations are different.
Pakhi is not strong by nature. And, the courage that her delusional world gives us, the reality doesn't.
Surrogacy -
Sirf main virat ko khush rakh sakti hu. Main uske bacche ki maa banungi.
Mujhe kisi cheez ka darr nahi hai.
Her delusions gave her the courage to do everything that she did. She did not care about what losing anything, as she had NOTHING TO LOSE.
But, now, she has a lot to lose.
The confusion between her delusional world and reality is making her behave this way.
Positive and negative.
Confident and insecure.
Secure and threatened.
CONFESSION -

A pause in eveything else.
Focus on pakhi's face with teary eyes. And, a wide painful smile.

This gave me HUGE vibes of pakhi's downfall. As if eveything is going to slip from her hands.
That confession was something, she put her courage into and it felt like a huge happy moment before everything starts getting ruined for her.

Pakhi to virat - yeh lo Mera number. Aur, ab tum mujhe saamne se call karna.
She wanted and asked Virat to make the first move and eveything was ruined and something unexpected happened. This time, she didn't want virat to say anything, didn't want to wait, but wanted to say it all.

If sai is only vinayak's doctor for her, then why would she thank her as a WIFE?
She should, because she has eveything that belongs to sai, BECAUSE sai is letting her keep it.
If sai decides to claim it, then pakhi would be left with NOTHING.
See, it's a way of trying to keep the person under control and influence their decision.
Example - You lended some money to your friend and now you want the money back.
But, before you can ask for it, the friend appreciates you and says emotional things, like thank you, the money is helping me a lot, i would've lost so many things without your help.
So, in a way you'll be guilty and emotional and you won't ask back for the MONEY.
That's what pakhi did to sai here.
Pakhi hands over the mic to sai.

Pakhi knows sai. She knows that sai will only wish pakhi and virat a happy married life. So, she handed over the mic to sai for a speech.
It was meant For virat.
The anniversary was for CONFESSION.
The confession was for virat and sai.
She brought Sai back and made her witness the whole confession.
It was meant for sai, she'll distance herself but what about virat?
So, the SPEECH was for virat.
Pakhi thinks that virat will see Sai being happy about him and pakhi and that sai has stopped caring and he'll stop caring too.
But, this is a misunderstanding. Virat gets provoked to do worse.
Virat tries walking towards sai but pakhi trips and falls on virat.

She was acting completely opposite of how she was acting in the room with virat.
SAI'S SPEECH -
Sonali - Pehle toh yeh Mohalle ko ikattha karleti thi. Aaj toh mic bhi hai. Pata nahi kya karegi.
Ashwini - She'll speak against Patralekha.
But, sai doesn't create a scene.
Simply shows that she isn't much bothered about the chawans anymore.
Ashwini - Jab sai bolne pe utar aati hai na, sabki zubaan band ho jati hai.
Ashwini still knows sai. It's not just in a negative way, but also positive.
She knows but the anger has overpowered her.
Sai - Aap dono ka pyaar, aapke dance mein saaf nazar aa raha tha.

Virat's reaction...
He realised ONE thing, i.e., sai has noticed his expressions during the dance.
See, when you're doing something deliberately when that person, says something that in a way, is similar your ACT or hints that they've CATCHED your ACT, then you'll think that the person has understood and realised, what were you doing.
Even if the person hasn't.
See for virat, he was doing that dance deliberately, to make sai jealous.
And, sai mentioned DANCE, so he'll think that sai has caught him and has understood what he was trying to do.
He knows sai is smart.
But, he failed to understand that it HAS HURT SAI.

It was a TAUNT, because sai think virat sent that cake on purpose.
But, virat didn't understand that, as if he did not send that cake.

Virat NEVER PLAYED DJEMBE for sai.
He played DRUM during their confession.
But, he himself told her that he plays djembe, during ANIKET track.
That's why he was a little shocked.

She does it for her own benefit and reputation.
She makes people do things, that they don't want to do.
She emotionally manipulates virat, on the name of family and reputation and manipulates pakhi, to keep sai away.
And, other people too.
VIRAT AND PAKHI, ROOM CONVO...
Virat - Main tumhare liye nimbu pani, lekar aata hu, NASHA utar jayega.
Let's take the, nimbu drink as the drink of REALITY.
If pakhi drinks it, her delusional world will come to an END.
That's why she asks,
Tum kyun chahte ho, ki Mera nasha utar jaye.
Pakhi - Tum mere saath isliye dance kar rahe the na, kyunki tum Sai ko dikhana chahte the, ki tum aage badh gaye ho?
This sentence reveals a lot of things about virat's behaviour.
Pakhi - You must not have liked that she wished us a happy wedding anniversary.
Felt like, pakhi is speaking on the behalf of virat.
These statements hit virat and they were an attack on his EMOTIONS too.
As if someone has pulled the mask and made him face the REALITY.
Virat had tears in his eyes, as if was a direct Emotional attack.
Pakhi - Tumhare aur mere beech mein se sai ko jane kyun nahi de rahe?
Pakhi always said this. Even when, SaiRat were together.
She always thought that, sai came between her and virat and kept asking virat to LET GO OF SAI.
She knew earlier that, it was VIRAT, who wasn't letting Sai go.
Because, sai was READY TO LEAVE.
And, now again, SAI HAS LET GO, BUT VIRAT ISN'T LETTING HER GO.
Pakhi - Do you love sai?
And, what if it happens in the future?
Virat tries to escape and doesn't answer but pakhi stays adamant.
Pakhi - Agar mujhe ya sai mein se kisi ek ko choose karna padhe, toh kise choose karoge?
This day will come.
Not necessarily after kid's revelation but it'll have to come.
We'll have to wait and see, who he chooses.
And, it's to keep the suspense alive about virat's DECISIONS.
