Definitely! I think she might have also said it to calm his anger down because somewhere down the line she probably knows that he won't really raise his hand. I don't know if feedback has reached Vanku's ears but such unnecessary dialogues aren't really required.

I think she knows he is capable of raising his hand even though in principle he would never do that. Virat the ips officer and when he's not being a self involved, self righteous person knows right vs wrong. But he has lost his control before and hes capable of doing so again. I think by bringing up him getting violent/physical shes reminding him to calm the f down before reacting.

But she could have done so without such a dialogue too.

I heard about khurkoto.....that is his level. Stuff nahin hai bande mein...or maybe it is his thinking that only such "twists & turns" make hindi shows successful....still stuck in Ekta's time...

No yaar Nethraa, for a while now I have not seen any FL telling the ML to beat her.. Its not normal ITV, trust me.. I guess probably wo bhabhi wala show hai wo hoga, but no one there is as sharm and self respecting like Sai was..

Yes he is I believe so, after the whole anniversary track. When it comes to anger, especially towards Sai , he is capable of both, too much love and too much hate(involving violence).

But Sai is not someone who would say, if it calms you down, do it. EVen to calm him down, no she cannot.

Point is not whether V intended to hit her or would have hit her.

And i personally feel he would not. He might raise a hand in extreme scenario but will not hit.

Anyway, again.. point is not about him.

It was about Sai being okay getting that sort of reaction from him. She saw he was occupied, if she wanted a reaction there were other ways, not slap me to cool down. Absolutely not.

No one should ever be making that statement.

Certainly not a FL of primetime show who people adore and emulate and definitely not Sai.

If V would have done this, people would have crucified him. But would it be logical to blame him if he indeed does it in future after hearing this??? She is okay with it so why should audience mind, right?

The reason we all love Sai is because she doesn't take things lying down, fights against wrong doing, stands up for bulls**it. This slap me to cool down is not Sai.

The same way she joked about failing and other examples i mentioned.

These are smaller deteriorations makers are doing to her character which are not needed and can be skipped.

It's a different matter if Ayesha performs it well or not. The grudge is against the character and not the actor.

Yes. I dont think Ayesha performed t in a way to suggest- oh its ok for you to slap me. I'll take it. It was moreike a dare- ok i dare you lose control n take your anger out on me, but them what. She was kinda giving a chetavani to calm down before he does something unforgivable, irreversible that he will regret.

I saw the scene and to me it did not look like a chetaavni, but something where she says, you want to beat me to salvage your anger, get done with it. Atleast then you will be calm.

There was nothing that made it seem like dare hit me..

Also irrespective of what she meant, its not fine to show the FL of leading TV channel, a prime time show, someone who have been in the past raising voice against violence, say that to her husband, just after she is in love and her love is rejected.

Back to the scene, baat baat par hath pakdenge aap and Virat was so shocked hearing that. That was a dare..chetaavni..

Sai is now fine wit and he does baat baat par manhandles her.

When Sai said that during anniversary track...it did not look that bad. Even though she was highly emotional, she said that as a challenge.....like c'mon lets see what you do. But this time Sai was so subdued, it was uncomfortable to watch(for me).

And if Sai is okay getting slapped, I wonder what new lows they will plan for her?

Kal ko she might fall on his feet begging and asking for forgiveness. KD main hai to copypaste to ho hi sakta hai...

Chalega kya tab hum main se kisi ko bhi?

They ruined the very core of Sai😡 If they wanted the show to go the typical ITV way, why write a strong female character from the beginning? They shouldnt have even bothered. Destroying her now is unacceptable
