Haan karo karo..If he wants to establish them as an ideal pair, supportive husband wife pair , atleast avoid such problematic lines. Not cool. There are better ways to convey hurt/pain/angst/surrender(samarpan)

Thank god for small mercies. The one thing that he has always wanted , even though he wanted her to be the proper bahu of the house, was her to become a successful doctor.

Sai ka kya bolun, I cant see her anymore, nothing much makes sense. Romance karao, consummation karao, shruti lao, leap lo, khatam karo.

Vankar is ridiculous. Emon was different from Sai but she maintained her core characteristics throughout the show (from what I understand). Here, they have gradually changed Sai's characterization....to cater to their stupid starplus drama. Sai was the only well-written, rounded character in ghum. (IMO) This compromise was not needed at all.

While watching the anniversary track, I kept mentioning Sai has more self respect than Virat and Rono worse than Virat in most of the departments , if you remember.

Vanku made sure, it changes, Sai actually has no self respect & Virat well I dont want to speak abt him.

See, he does not have the stuff to pull off an Anupama....so he is using standard ITV formula of drama, needless toxicity, soulmates blah blah blah

I heard about khurkoto.....that is his level. Stuff nahin hai bande mein...or maybe it is his thinking that only such "twists & turns" make hindi shows successful....still stuck in Ekta's time...

I dont think Sai asking him to slap her to take out his gussa automatically implies that she's ok with abuse or endorsing it. Its not a great dialogue for sure.i agree about that. But i think it is only another way of getting a reaction out of him. Atleast thats how Ayesha performed it . To me Ayesha said it in a way that it felt like a jibe rather than acceptance/surrender . Also it was a moment where V ideally should register what Sai thinks of him- that hes capable of being violent in his anger. He has definitely done it before and given her reason to believe that hes capable of it Her saying- ya go ahead, slap me , was like- gussa ho, toh zyaada seh zyaada- you will take it out by slapping- but then what. Similarly i don't think Sai looked happy when he grabbed her by the shoulders. She deliberately pauses and makes him register that hes got too "physical" and when he does- he lets go.

I do think that if V had lost control and raised his hand,Sai would have taken a stand for herself and left. For good.

Sadhika has forwarded or mentioned some of it to me.
