Wahi main bol rahi hun, going forward they can tone it all down. They dont need to make Sai say all this, to show you know Virat is not that kind of person(which is not a quality but bare minimum).

Also it is happening in families, everywhere around, women to get used to abuse and start normalizing it. One need to promote it through a prime time show. Already so many women, working at that are trying it hard to put across a point that both man and woman need to know to take care of house, kids, cook , clean. Infact they themselves believe its find to do so, since women are givers. This whole ki aurat tab tak nahi khati jab tak ghar mei sabka pet na bhar jaye, is still normalized. YOu are supposed to behave that way, if you cant. Uspar se these people come up with such pathetic dialogues.

Bhai dikhao love story, dikhao Virat ko to be an ideal man, but please dont normalize it, such things, dont write such dialogues. Kuch toh responsible writing dikhao, every other show is doing, why cant you???

The Virat Chavan we liked would have scolded Sai for talking about failing in exams , even it was a joke..Yaha toh khair kuch bhi in the name of angst and funny banter.

Yes. This could have been avoided. Currently sab scattered hai. So they are not really putting too much thought into this which is unfortunate. It is coming out incorrectly

On second viewing, a few things that came to my mind.

The conversation initially is focused on Shivani.

Back home, V is already upset, doesn't want to listen to Sai. But she wants to explain why she went. In that part, he presumes that she means he doesn't care for the family and their emotions.

This flips him completely, leading to grabbing her arms.

Yaha tak V ka gussa justified hai. He knows details Sai doesn't, which is why he is so against Bua meeting Rajeev again. Fair point as he doesn't want Bua to face the same thing again.

But post grabbing her arms and asking her about human emotions, the situation flips and even though they are still talking about Shivani -Rajeev... It is highly charged with their own emotions.

It's a SaiRat centric conversation after this. Serious undertones of their own experiences, expectations and pain.

Sai looked positively affected at his touch. She was blank i guess for few seconds. It was shocking to him too as it once again 'baat baat pe haath pakad lenge' scenario.

She then talks about how wrong he is when he thinks Bua ha moved on. Baat khatam hone se jazbaat khatam nahi ho jaate. I felt this was an accurate interpretation of V himself. He is pretending that he has moved on from Sai but he hasn't. And that's why he grabs her immediately and asks ki bahot samjhti ho na human emotions ko? As if asking ki yahi chij mere liye kyun nahi samajh rahi 😊

Then she talks about pyaar and he laughs sarcastically. Ki tumhe pyaar nahi samajh aata, rondhna aata hai.

He definitely relates it to himself at this point.

Here onwards, the conversation is laced with their own feelings.

Sai talks about Aurat/Mard and Virat questions whether Mard cannot understand dard. She explains that they do but take time. He registers that she is talking from her experience and mentions that it's not about you.

She talks about Devi Ashwini and her ousting. Hats off to Sai for bringing it up.

But V is still making it up about himself, thinking tumhe sabka dard samajh aata hai lekin mujhe itna dard de diya.

Then Sai talks about aage badhna, zindagi ka kora panna. Was so relatable as it felt like she was talking about herself. Of asking for clarity from V somehow. Agar koi bhi gunjaish hai to rishte ko mauka dena chahiye. As if hinting him to do the same.

Sai then talks about Shivani Rajeev meeting for the last time and Shivani probably giving him another chance. Same way that Sai gave multiple chances to V. This is why she is so adamant on getting them to meet.

Then the fist clench.

V is not angry at Sai this moment. He has just had a flashback of Shivani and that is his mechanism to control his anger. He says so himself to leave him.

But she takes it other way and interprets its his anger on her and that thappad dialogue. It's horrible, another chink in Sai's Armor.

The point is not whether V intended to hit her or would have hit her. Though I don't think he ever will.

It is Sai accepting that form of anger is what is problematic. Horrible writing.

This was completely unnecessary. Could have been totally skipped.

His reaction is justified. He is not even aware that he has a clenched fist and that too to hit her. This upsets him more as it seems like she still doesn't understand that he will never do something like this.

NB was good in this tiny segment.

My take is that it's good episode.

They had a conversation which did not turn into argument. Like many of you pointed out, it was Sai who was pacifier this time. She handled him extremely well yet got her points through.

V on the other hand, was justified in his frustration at Rajeev and her meddling.

Rajeev is a questionable fellow. Pulkit was respected at his workplace, hadnt really left Devyani (they got married and stayed long enough to conceive a child). Sure there was miscommunication and distrust but atleast Pulkit is a much more sensible man.

Rajeev doesn't have anything like this to his credit. He is a self confessed flirt who chickened out. In a real life scenario, such an opportunity would not be available to him knowingly. So creative license aside, even I would not have supported Rajeev as a prospective groom for Shivani.

End scene looks like Shivani getting upset for V acting on her behalf. She will probably get him out of jail as few of you mentioned. And that will prove to V that Sai was right all along. Hence the precap.

Devi ne Shivani ko bataya hai ki Sai V se pyaar karti hai. So seeing her efforts to manao him and getting her patched up with Rajeev, Shivani will help V in understanding her/woman perspective and to see Sai in much better light.

Uff kitna analysis kar liya maine. Overall a much better episode.

But i am not happy if this is the conversation Vanku mentioned. Mann nahi bhara. I want another one.

What I liked about Sai Bai today that she spoke about closure.. True that one can not dwell on pain forever which is what Shivani doing.. She spoke about Shaving but it triggered Virat who is also dwelling on his dukh dard and peeda..

Sai spoke about woman that virat too had overlooked his misbehaviour and got away easily then why Rajiv can't have another chance..

That particular Dialogue could have been skipped..It was too extreme for itv.. But sai by no means said that casually because Virat is literally being adamant to register anything in anger.. She had dealt with it.. Sai knows the whole conversation had hit him hard because he is too dealing with same emotions..Either he was angry at himself or he is engulfed in his own pain to reflect anything..

I have mentioned in my another post if it was a novel or western drama Virat would drag her to bed.. Because all the things Sai mentioned hit him like bullet.. She spoke about Shivani but he compared the whole scenario with them..

I know today episode will have continuation for the next episodes..There is no consistency in writing to connect with any character.. 🤢

They could have used Ninad and Omi's younger version for that scene... Sachme yede log hai! Samrat's beard wasn't there in old episodes! And now I know why Neil got haircut! Ye scene k liye shaayad! Fir bhi except BK no one is looking of the required age!
