Yes. It was very awkward for me to watch too. I still haven't understood the purpose of that dialogue. So I am not delving much into it. Waise bhi this serial ka motto hai - raat gayi, baat gayi

I have a hunch this is for normalising future abuse.

From what i know, Emon falls on his feet and begs him to not take transfer before confession.

Ghum is at same stage. Confession is about to happen. V has asked for transfer.

Wait for the day when Sai will beg him to not leave her. 😡I never thought this day would come but it looks like it will now 🥺

Yes its not a good dialogue. But my point is that the character is not ok with his violence. Her saying that ok slap me in this context is not an invitation to actually slap her and her being ok with it...and thankfully the performance of the actor brought that out. Small mercies.

They have KD for reference, they can actually omit stuff that seems problematic but I doubt they see it through that lens
