Totally agree with the bolded part. He was straight to the point to Patralekha after Sai refused to return with him from GC and after her 1st accident. But after Sai returned he ignores or is stern with her for a while and then changes to 'friend' again when he is not in a good term with Sai.

Sai needs to keep Virat at a distance always so that he maintains his distance from his bhabhis.

I keep saying, Ghum had the potential to be No.1 if they showed ambition or atleast took their writing seriously. This story has so many depths and layers.

I just feel this production house or creative writers couldn't give a better treatment to this show. They could have done wonders.

What should I talk about patriarchy , the fact that Sairat is celebrated for their good moments, screams how Patriarchy is accepted among us when the man has these certain good elements in him.They will all happily get back to CN with Sai saying its her parivar, so the can scold her and they get back to again abusing her, with her enjoying it since she is so used to it. The next time Virat finds a zimmedaari, Sai would have no right to question him, even she finds him giving them their name, living with them, because he was just performing his zimmedaari. Sai will show her trust.

This is what I wrote in one of the comments yesterday...TBH, nothing much has changed in 5 years since KD days and this kind of change is always slow..takes a generation for it. Accepting anupama moving on with Anuj with the show having feel good factor and having good ratings and accepting the same for your aunts, neighbours is different thing.

Sai is stuck in the vicious cycle, she had an opportunity now to move on, now she can't...she will confess, have kids, then for sake of kids and society will carry on with the facade of a happy life...now she has seen the true colours of her 'family' too.

Like I said , I have seen women like Sai around , unfortunately they also watch the show and relate to the good aspects of Virat and it all scares me. Disturbs me mentally. I stopped watching the random clips the day they showed her understanding Virat.

We both have been on the opposite side of the fence .. but yes I do find it disturbing that sai is changing .. she has started accepting abuse ..

It was not Sai’s fault at all and she had not told the Chavan gang to cut connection with virat .. she always told them to accept him back ..

but the way they are behaving with her is not normal .. yes Sai should walk off from the hospital it is easier said than done .. she has lived with this man for 2 years .it is natural for her to show concern for him than anybody else in the house ..

By cutting her off like this they have shown an inhuman side to them .. which cannot be forgiven .. and I hope Sai gives it back to them .. atleast emon always did .. and the family were never that mean to her .. especially her father in law ( he protected her )

I don’t want Sai to go back to virat … being concerned for him when he is at deathbed is one thing .. becoming his wife when ge has recovered is totally different..

I do hope Sai recovers her wits .. and tells virat after he becomes ok .. we are divorced .. let’s call it a truce .. let us not hurt each other .. and put each other at death’s door yet again ..

I have seen the same with my best friend but we are living in 2022 right, but then it was 2018 and her family supported her and happy for her..even her son was happy that for the first time she came forward with the truth. Her parents are not believing in divorce,but they supported her.

And the family of her ex supported her also, they are still calling her on her birthday because they know she was right and he was wrong

I have seen EMA from so close that's why I hate story's like this because it hurts a lot I have seen my friend and was her support system for a while but after this she became so strong, everyone who knows her says you are looking good and you are so strong..things that she couldn't do it she is doing on her self..

A women can change after divorce and can be strong she don't need a men in her life, I have seen this with my friend..she just need good friends, just for support..

And you are right women/men can become stronger after going through difficult phase. However it always helps to know your loved ones support you, believe in you and give you the assurances they are there to catch you if you fall (ie they will not let you go through the journey alone). End of the day all we truly want is so one to love us …be it spouse, a companion , parent, child, friend…
